    Desktop NotificationsOpen

    PROBLEM: For all of us who work most of the time on our desktop/laptop, keeping track of all the comments and mentions can become very hard if we're relying on email messages since not everyone uses Slack.   IDEA: A desktop notification feature would be very welcome (a simple toast message would do the job), specially if it can be configured as a new channel on the team settings page (where nowadays we have email, mobile push and slack)

    Per-side borders for text boxes / rectangles and table cellsOpen

    When creating UI mockups, particularly tab bars, it’s common to use a bottom border to indicate which tab is active or has focus. It’s also useful to create vertical separators between text boxes, etc. This functionality is pretty common - cell border attributes in Excel, Word and Google Docs tables, and it’s built-in to CSS (border-left, border-right, etc.) I would love the ability to not just select the border thickness, opacity and colour, but also specify which borders are active. Inactive borders would either be transparent or take on the box’s fill colour (this could be a checkbox preference). While we’re at it, the ability to do this in tables would be SUPER useful as well. (This would really let me use a single-row table to mock up things like tab bars or button bars with some styling). This would be limited to rectangular boxes to start, but border options that mimic what is possible in CSS (combining with border-radius and other attributes) would be nice.

    Please enhance the Board classification feature by a mechanism to control the board sharing restrictions. Demand:Public boards can be shared using “Public link sharing” Internal boards are allowed to be shared using “Public Link Sharing” with Password enforcement only Confidential boards are not allowed to be shared using “Public Link Sharing” at all Restricted boards are not allowed to be shared through sharing with Enterprise/Team/Project - they must explicitely be shared on a per-person basis

    Titles of frames when saving at pdfOpen

    It would be great that if you export your board to a pdf or showing on presentation that the frame title used to sort as presenter is also on the pages when exported or shown. This would help if you wanted to save history or share later with someone uninvolved that would not be in the board after the activity is completed.

    Clear Post ItsOpen

    It would be great to have a feature where you can clear the contents of multiple post it notes at once, when selected or filtered. Similar to excel, clear contents, this features helps remove the text but not the post its to allow for a re-start on ideas etc.

    Bring frame to front / send frame to back / stack framesOpen

    I just stumbled across the (now?) missing feature to send a frame to back or bring it to front. When is this supposed to come or return? In particular with nested frames, colored frames help a lot to easily identify boundaries between frames. Yet if one creates a surrounding frame after the nested frames the surrounding frame is always on top the nested ones and its color hides the colors of the nested frames. The only workaround seems to duplicate each nested frame so that they are created after the surrounding frame and are thus now on top the surrounding frame, then rename all of them and delete the original ones. Which is cumbersome and a waste of time.

    Option to 'unlock multiple objects in bulk'Open

    Hi, I would love to have te option to unlock items in a certain region on the board without 'unlocking the whole board' and without having to select and unlock each seperately items one by one.  Would save a lot of time!

    Linking ItemsOpen

    Hi,  My team loves the “link to” feature but currently we are unable to use it because the blue arrow is so distracting. When we zoom out of our board, the arrows are huge and you can’t see the content of the board. I was wondering if there was a way to change the size of the arrow / use a different icon / get around this?

    Erasing with back of a Surface penOpen

    With my Surface Pro 7 Stylus I can erase by rubbing the back of the pen across the screen (like with a physical pen with an eraser attached), in apps that support this (OneNote, Microsoft Whiteboard). Can Miro be set up to work like this too?   It is very frustrating not being able to do this once one has grown accustomed to it.

    Accessible text and edit icon for tagsOpen

    The text on a lot of the tags is hard to read if you have any sort of colour blindness because it’s all white even on light colours like lime green.Add an option to change the text colour on tags as well as add hover/first tap text that appears above to show the text when tags are disabled. It’s hard to pick a tag when it’s disabled and you can’t read it because it’s white text on lime green and the opacity has been reduced!Currently, I can only use 4 (maybe 5) colours offered in tags because of accessibility issues. It’d be great to be able to use them all and even add my own colours!Here are the results when using Colorblinding, an accessibility checker. You can see that even with normal colour vision, the text and pencil icon are hard to distinguish. Normal Color Vision, tags disabled​​​​​​Red-blind, tags disabled Green-blind, tags disabled Blue-blind, tags disabled Red-weak, tags disabled Green-weak, tags disabled Blue-weak, tags disabled Monochromacy, tags disabled Blue Cone Monochromacy, tags disabled

    Lock element in place but be able to edit what is insideOpen

    I would like to be able to lock an element so that it does not get dragged acidentally to another position but then be able to double/tripple click to change the content inside. Example is a shape contaning text in a template. It is too easy to move the object while I simply want to edit the content. Perhaps a lock position as well as a lock for lock for content

    Hide Avatar/Name label that appears when someone is editing/moving an objectExisting Feature (closed)

    In workshops and meetings with a large number of active participants the flurry of activity on screen can be distracting. Hiding collaborator’s cursors mitigates this but even with cursors hidden there is still a gray box that appears any time someone is editing an object. ProblemThough one can switch collaborator cursors on and off, the ability to turn off the gray avatar/name label that appears when someone is editing and object doesn’t exist.Example of the gray box with Avatar and Name that appears when a user edits and object​​​​​​At my company we use Miro to facilitate highly interactive workshops with upwards of 15 users working in tandem at a time. With this number of people all active at once, having these avatar/name boxes appearing all at once can be as distracting as having all of the cursors on screen. Possible SolutionIt would be great to have a way to hide these labels in the same way that we can hide collaborator cursors.

    Starring boards when you are in them - can we have the old way back please!!!Open

    Until recently you could star a board, and see that its starred, when on a board from the top left at all times!  A recent change means you have to go to Settings/Board/Star this board to star/unstar or confirm whether its starred!If you forget to star it you have to go to recent boards and hope you remember the title of the board so you can star it.Really small but really annoying change!

    Google Translate integrationOpen

    This is probably not a common use-case, but anyhow, here it goes: I currently have a board in Swedish that needs to be translated to English. My current workflow is to copy the text from one element into Google Translate, then copy the translated text back into Miro. For this board it’s fine, but for larger boards it could get very time consuming. Since Miro seem poised to integrate with all other apps, which is awesome, maybe a Google Translate integration could be relevant as well?

    I have been a user of AWWAPP for a while. The ability to instantly add pages was most useful including uploading a PDF to separate pages. Please add this feature and I will sign up to MIRO.

    Shuffle / randomize order of selected objectsOpen

    THE ABSTRACT It would be great to be able to have one-click shuffle (place in random order) all of currently selected objects. THE PROBLEM There is a great variety of activities in collaboration, that require object randomness when preparing or playing with the board: selecting shuffled sticky notes, voting on ideas placed in random order, working with random cards. Currently Miro does not have any tool to do that neither quickly nor efficiently. You can only do it manually, which basically eliminates the “random” concept out of it (you can use some hacks, such as dragging objects in frame with grid mode - but it is still manual).   THE (POSSIBLE) SOLUTION With recently introduced “smart alignment” you can introduce option to align & shuffle, that will move selected objects into a smart alignment - next to each other - but in random order. It could be a button something like this:   BEFORE:   AFTER (smart aligned & shuffled):

    Attach image to outside of CardOpen

    Similar to creating a Comment and “attaching” (or binding?) it to a Card, I want to be able to attach an image or icon to a card. Use cases: Our team uses Bitmoji icons in our boards and want to attach the icon(s) of who is working on the item - there can be more than one person, e.g., someone mobbing or shadowing the work. We add the icon of a vendor we are working on and want it on the card. I create a new card and want to draw attention to it, so I add a big “NEW” icon and want to attach it to the card. I know I could Group the Card and icon, but when in Grouping mode, the user can not single-click the card to get the option menu (color, assignee, insert link, due date, etc.).

    Hide activity list view from editorsOpen

    Is it possible to hide the activity list from editors - so that only the board admins can view - because we do not want our clients to see all of the edits we make. I am aware of the button to turn on/off the view. For example this would be like if the client could see all of your powerpoint edits before a presentation.

    Support Chrome’s shortcuts on Miro boardsOpen

    I’m used to switching tabs w/ `cmd + N` where 0-9 go to tabs.  It seems like Miro is taking these over and doing.. well seems like nothing… can I disable these?

    Toggle on/off the "Bring All to Me"Open

    I facilitate trainings with several frames. I give participants tasks in one frame, or breakout rooms each with their own frame. Sometimes I want to “bring everyone to me” as I give instructions or a presentation, and then I want them to go and work somewhere else on the board. This situation also happens when I am providing specific support to different participants. But I can’t do that without bringing everyone else along with me. I want to have the “Bring everyone to me” also toggle to “release everyone from following” me.  This question was also asked here, and I want to raise it now as an idea/feature request: https://community.miro.com/got-a-question-ask-the-community-45/how-to-turn-off-make-participants-follow-me-1793

    Confluence embeds pinned to a specific frameDelivered

    As reviewers have noted on the Atlassian Marketplace page for the Miro Confluence integration, the integration still only embeds the entire board in a fixed-size component. This is useless for anyone using  the canvas to hold multiple diagrams..which is the whole point of Miro. As a result, I’ve got no choice but to export a static  image of the frame I want, and paste that into the page. If the diagram gets updated, my Confluence page obviously does not. And if I want to link to the Miro board, I’m best off bypassing the integration entirely and simply pasting a URL because, again, there is little or no conceivable use for embedding the entire Miro app, UI and all, not focused on the specific content I’m trying to share, into a fixed-size small frame on the wiki page. This can and should be split into multiple stories, e.g.: As a user, I should be able to embed a single live frame into a Confluence page I should be able to control the size and perhaps aspect ratio of the embedded frame, e.g. to match the content, as its dimensions are knowable. I should be able to toggle whether the full Miro app UI should be turned on in the embed by default. Just because a user *can* edit the board that doesn’t mean embeds should be covered in toolbars and minimaps. For pages that can and will be shared with viewers not authenticated into Miro, or lacking access to the specific board, there should be a toggle for an optional fallback behavior that renders a static image of the frame embedded at the time of embed creation or modification. Since your Confluence integrations go back four years, and your Confluence Cloud integration goes back at least one year, should we expect these sorts of obvious functionality will ever be taken up?

    Add field "Advanced Roadmaps Teams" in Jira CardsOpen

    Since the chat on this topic was two years ago, I would like to ask again whether it would be possible to integrate this field “Advanced Roadmaps Teams” into Jira Cards in Miro? The background to the question is that this information would be essential for (our) (big room) plannings, in which a large number of teams are involved, as we do not use / should not use the ‘components’ field. The distinction between the responsible teams is made by the field / attribute ‘Advanced Roadmaps Teams’. For a quick and better overview, it would be very good and helpful if this information could also be displayed on a Jira map in Miro and would offered as a selection criteria.

    Organizing Boards in Zoom by Team and ProjectOpen

    Currently, in the Miro app for Zoom, you can only pick a board to embed by searching for it’s name. They aren't organized by team or project like in the actual Miro website. Our organization builds many Miro boards that is subject specific and we organize them by using teams and projects. It would be super helpful for our instructors to be able to find boards through teams and projects.
