    Data linking from Excel to shapesOpen

    I would like to suggest a new feature. This is currently available with Lucidchart, where you can upload data from a spreadsheet into the document, and drop each line of the s/sheet to a shape of your choice. On top of this, you have the option to update the data, so when you make any changes they automatically appear on the shapes in the board, once re-uploaded.

    Miro Content IngestOpen

    To use Miro on large format displays we’d like to ingest webcam inputs to be able to show on the Miro board. For instance a laptop plugged in via a HDMI to USB ingest card to show on the Miro board.

    I would like to share the screen of searching for Webpay while having a class with students on the board of Miro. You can find out by looking at Edutech called Pencil Space with a similar function.

    Rich text editorOpen

    The current text box widget allows simple formatting but it is quite limited - I can’t for example have text of different sizes in the same box.  There are many great open source rich text editor widgets available for the web.  I would really find it useful if there was a widget that enabled me to embed a rich text editor right on the page. Thanks David

    Tool to locate largest file in the board! PLEASE!!Open

    Our team uses Miro to review work daily. Inevitably, the board becomes extremely slow after multiple calls due to the amount of work we are posting. It would be so incredibly helpful to be able to locate large (problem) files so that we can remove them to keep the board running smoothly.

    REST API - Add template to boardOpen

    I would like to add an existing template to a board that I create via the API. I create dozens fo boards to support my classes and would like to do this programmatically. Each course has a template. So if I could create boards via the API and then add the template to each of them, I could automate most of the tedium.

    Perpendicular connection lines between shapesOpen

    I would like to be able to connect shapes and have Miro intuit that I’m trying to make the connection perpendicular between the shapes. It does this when centered, but otherwise does not. I think this functionality could be added using what is already done for center-aligned shapes.

    I’d like to see a connection option that allows for hinged lines in addition to the options currently available. Below is an illustration of what I am envisioning. This type of callout/connection line is often used in diagrams and I think would be relatively simple to create and integrate. Thanks!

    Name all stickies in a stackOpen

    It’s a tiny feature request and there may not be the use cases to support it but I would love to be able to create a stack of stickies, name the stack and then apply either no text (current behaviour) or the same text to all stickies (new behaviour)It’s a super useful way to get groups of people to categorise or match whatever is on the sticky to a specific component e.g. asking a group to use stickies showing product risks and mapping ownership of those risks to specific product team roles

    The app is excellent, but it is impossible to work on multiple documents and files within it without a dark mode to protect the eyes. Please enable it as soon as possible. And no, changing the background isn't enough the documents are white, as is everything else.

    Add Zoom behavior option to query params for moveToWidgetOpen

    I have searched around a little and found that I am not the only one who finds the “fit to view” behavior when following links that leads into miro, the moveToWidget links.I propose adding a extra query param to your system that can allow users to define how they want the app to behave.Like this:miro.com/app/board/[boardId]=/?moveToWidget=[widgetId]&cot=10&zoom=[zoomOptions]Zoom Options could be:fit-to-view(default) keep-zoom, disabled or similar if you don’t want to change from what zoom you currently are on. If coming from outside the app it could default to fit-to-view a value for specific zoom you wish to end up with, 100 for 100% zoomBy default the zoom param doesn’t even need to be added and you don’t even need to implement a user interface to set this at first. Just give us who wish to use it, and can test it out for you, a way to manually change it.

    Clickable Wireframe prototyping tool (a "tweaked" presentation mode)Open

    How?From development point of view, it seems nothing fancy, while lots of components are present already in the Miro! As I imagine, to develop a prototype feature for Miro you need:a little bit smarter presentation mode  a new kind of frame type (for click zones) a new kind of arrow type (for connections) switching between “design mode” and “flow mode”, to not confuse snapping. (When I design the prototype, I wont snap into any frame that represent a click / touch zone, vice versa)Why?I would create clickable wireframe prototypes.I know. Lots of other tools are in the filed. But Miro is a gateway drug for lots of emerging designer. This could be the next step for people who started to create flowcharts than prototypes here, and wont learn new tools. You wouldn't develop wireframing tools neidher, if you don't expect this, I guess. My usecase:I create almost all illustration with Miro. I even switched from prezi.com and creating presentations with your tool. But when we ideating wireframes for a digital service, clients are overwhelmed after a certain complexity. Developers too.  However, the high fidelity designs arent ready yet. Now I recording hours and hours of videos explaining how these prototypes would work. Im about to learn Figma better, but im affraid Figma will be never an unversal visual tool for me. I need to create clickable protos, because presenting product / service ideas sucking time exponentially from me from the stakeholders, and not effective at all. Business case:Prototyping could supercharge growth, with a good business model:If I could have a simple prototyping functionality I would be “forced” to invite all stakeholders to Miro. Now im exporting pictures (one by one , simetimes buggy, [not to mention the underscaled .PDFs])  Sending them trough Asana, email ..brrrr.The less involved stakeholders and clients arent motivated to register into Miro and explore the very basic features. But everybody LOVES prototypes and seeing how their ideas come true, so this could be a motivation factor.

    I’ve noticed that you have to transfer your low-fidelity prototypes to other prototyping tools. I hope you allow that here too so we don’t have to transfer to other sites or apps.

    Cursor when typing especially in tableOpen

    When typing in Miro especially when using Tables, display a horizontal dash so the user knows where the cursor is when they are typing. When typing in a table, I am never sure where my cursor is until I start typing.

    Azure Cards not limited to Enterprise PlanOpen

    I was curious if there was a requirement to integrate Azure Card with Miro?  I mainly ask as I see that you can integrate Jira (and other integrations) on the “Team” plan.   At first, I thought maybe it required SSO?  Though, you can do just about anything with tokens.  Azure AD maybe?  The main reason I ask, we’re a startup, and we have a small team.  We had been researching options for improving a team operating remotely.  Overall, Miro is a great tool, but we use Azure Devops which, given we are a small team I’m not sure if we have the budget to use the enterprise plan (if it matters, the main reason we are using Azure Devops for our card is that we needed a CI pipeline, and for the most part, we got the board as part of it when setting up the azure CI). Anyways, Miro looked perfect (even more so after i saw the integration with azure devop cards) which has me rather bummed so I figured I’d ask.

    Currently the button to click the link when an external link is being used is in the top right corner and not obvious to everyone. It would be good if there was a button or if a shape can turn into a full size button and make it clearer its a clickable shape

    Time lapse recording of activity on boardOpen

    When giving training sessions on how to use Miro, I often get the question “How do I start?”.People see use cases and best practices when they are filled with templates, structure and content, but can’t imagine how the (collaborative) process works. It would be very illustrative to show a time lapse (on time level or on activity level) so you can see the board being populated, changed over time at high speed.

    A board timelapse showing how a board has grown from a blank canvas (similar to the timelapse feature of art software like ProCreate) would really empower retrospectives.It would be fantastic to be able to look at a project board and get a blow-by-blow of what we added to it during the project by just scrubbing through a timeline.We also use Miro for roadmapping, and it’d be really useful to be able to quickly get a full picture of how tickets moved around our custom roadmapping board over the last year.

    Enterprise Admin quick access to "Company Settings"Open

    As an enterprise admin, I often find myself looking to see if an individual has a full license, or needed to look at team settings that I may not be a member of. Having to go through my current team’s settings to get to the company settings is annoying and wastes time. It would be helpful if the company settings page could be accessed similar to a team home page through an icon on the left navigation column. Ideally this would be automated and only be visible to individuals with company admin privileges.

    Miro Marketing communications are completely out of controlOpen

    Several members of our team get multiple email’s per week asking for feedback from different folks at Miro. I’ve already had a conversation with one of their account people to talk about plan. Talked to another letting them know I’ve already had that conversation as well. But the emails keep coming to our team members. As part of my responsibilities in my role I understand they would reach out to key people but to reach out to all staff is completely out of control.I’m posting here because their account managers have been incredible insistent and don’t seem to take no for an answer. Didn’t find another place to provide feedback.We need the emails to stop.
