Automatically deactivate Guests” (Company Settings → Security & compliance → Collaboration) is a great feature! It would be even more awesome, if the admin can configure after how many days the deactivation takes place. 30 days isn’t cutting it for everyone. Give us the power please! :)

That’s how the setting looks in the GUI

Was it helpful?

Hello, we are an enterprise customer and also need this featuer. It would help us a lot because now 30 Days are to short and we have to do it manually. Thank you very much.

Hi there, we are also an Enterprise customer with a few thousand users. We face the same issue.

It would be very helpful if the Admins could change the days. It should provide at least a time frame between 15 and maybe 180 days.
In addition it would be very helpful, especially in large organizations, if the Team Admins could reactivate guests by themselves. Or you can provide such an enablement in the new feature to create our own Admin roles.
A timeline would be great.
Thanks.

In addition to what Ulrich mentioned another option could be that instead of the Team admin, it is the board owner who receives an email notification with the request to reactivate the account, kind of the same as when you receive a link to a file stored in Sharepoint and it has not been shared with you. You request access and the file owner just gives you access by clicking the allow button in the notification email

This would be immensely important to us. Currently, I as an admin get so many requests to reactivate guests that it gets annoying. Plus, it hinders our users from working with guests smoothly. I can’t understand why the board owner is able to invite external users to the board but not able to reactivate the very same guests when they get deactivated.

I also researched if it was possible via API but the SCIM API doesn’t allow managing guests either. If that was possible, we would build our own solution then.
