Hi there When I want to export to PDF or image a frame that contains stickies that have been clustered, the cluster borders and titles are completely missing, but everything else is visible - the clusters should be visible in the export. Thanks
Hello,When we try to add text in the tables, it always starts with auto font size (14) and need to change it each and every time manually for all the boxes.
I frequently use Miro for brainstorming sessions when I'm relaxing and do not have access to a desktop computer. My main device for these sessions is an iPad. During brainstorming, I often want to copy and paste diagrams written in PlantUML or Mermaid.js—usually generated or edited through AI tools.Currently, on the iPad version of Miro, it's impossible to easily paste Mermaid.js diagrams. The workflow requires clearing the input field first, and then the copied diagram text (from the clipboard, often generated by an AI language model) does not become available for pasting. As a result, I am forced to log in to my desktop computer and use keyboard navigation to paste the diagram, which defeats the convenience and portability Miro should provide for brainstorming anywhere.Feature Request:Please improve the copy-paste functionality in Miro's iPad app, specifically for PlantUML and Mermaid.js diagrams. Allow users to seamlessly paste diagram code into the editor directly from their clipboard—without the need for unnecessary steps like clearing fields or switching to a desktop. This enhancement would greatly improve mobile brainstorming and workflow efficiency for users who rely on tablets.Thank you!
When trying to share a board with another person in my own company that is on another Miro team, why do I have to share with them by entering their full email address?! Please join every other enterprise application and allow me to look up people in my company by name! Can you imagine if Slack or MS Teams required you to enter someone’s full email address before you could a send a message to someone at your company? That’s crazy talk, right? So please please please improve your UX. I get that sharing a board with an external person would require you to enter their full email address. I even get that you might need to enter a full email address if the person in my company hadn’t yet been given access to Miro or if they weren’t on another team. But if they are in my company and are already an active user on another team, it seems obvious that I should be able to share a board by starting to type their name and having the list of people in my company filtered automatically. This almost seems to obvious to have to suggest on a Wish List, so hopefully you are already hard at work on delivering this… Thanks, Curt
We have been using the timeline feature for project delivery plans, but we have found that when we have finished and sometimes during our updates that they are being reverted and the changes we have made are not even being reflected in the activity or version history so it isn't possible to recover them. Any advice or fix would be really appreciated - thanks! A bit more context:It is a large Miro board with multiple timelines / delivery plans and can be modified by multiple people at the same time.
I find that with large boards i tend to be zoomed out and when you put in notes or docs or images cards etc they are too small and often especially with a trackpad it is a bit of a mission to click the corner and and resize manually. Often i might have to zoom in to be actually able to select a corner of the sticky or image to make it bigger.I think an easy work around would be instead of a s,m L option for resizing, to have a size up or down in the bar that comes up when you make a sticky. So if you are at a zoomed out macro level you could resize it to the right size at a click of a button instead of zooming in expanding then zooming out.
Please change the subject line of the daily board activity notification, to align the moode of the subject with the mood of the contents.I see "# boards need your attention" and I think "oh no something went wrong, or there's a comment I missed!" Then I open it, and it's just the email to say "one of your teammates edited something on their board." Nothing actionable. Nothing urgent. Every. Single. Day.It's like you're intentionally trying to make me numb to important Miro notifications
Hi everyone,As I switched from PPt to moro recelntly, I am very much missing some simple features that I used there. One would be the “repeat action” shortcut by pression CTRL+Y. E.g. to repeat a grouping action without having to klick on “group” again or aligning objects without the menu/buttons.Thanks a lot!
We use Miro for PI-planning, but I need to make my own breakdown area instead of using the planner. The reason is that we have many stories and it’s difficult to get the overview of stories per feature in the plannerIt would be super useful if we could split stories in swim lanes pr. feature like I do in our breakdown area
Hi,I’m using Miro to make a UX wireframe flow. This diagram has no fixed format. Now if I want to make a presentation, I need to add frames around parts of my flow. But I can’t do this because of the drop shadows that are added to the frames. Please give an option to hide or change the borders of a frame. Then Miro could be used like a Prezi presentation.Regards,Steven
Hi, i believe – just as the user can connect any shape, text, sticky note, picture etc with nodes/arrows – would it not be very useful to add the ability to connect frames the same way?
It would be great to have the option to batch create tags from a list. For example, when a team discusses how they want to tag and cluster sticky notes, they may create a list first and streamline it before creating the tags. Then you can copy/paste the bullet list and it automatically creates all of the tags.At the moment, if you have long list of tags, it’s very time consuming to add individually.
I am trying something different. Using a grid as a calendar, then layering a shapes on top to show every 3 months with different colors. Can’t manage to lock these shapes so they don’t move. As soon as I make the shape larger than the grid dimension, I can lock it. Keep it within the grid dimension and the lock option disappears. Any suggestions?
I would like to have a drawing tool (marker) that allows me to temporarily highlight things on the board, with the lines automatically disappearing after a few seconds. This would be useful for presentations, trainings, or to help guide visual attention without leaving any permanent marks.
I often share my boards to other Miro users. Some are savvy users, more often than not they are irregular users. To make the board ez to navigate, e.g., I have visible buttons to move to frames on the page. I also make use of the “Stickies” for shortcut which is very handy. To make boards even easier to use for non-frequent users, I want to use the new Shortcut button feature to enable showing the “Layers” panel (difficult to find for novice users to navigate to). Showing the “Layers” panel is not yet available when creating a shortcut. Mocked Shortcut to Open Layers Panel
As many pointed out here exporting the new tables in a format that then can be used in Microsoft Excel is a more than obvious feature to make the new tables even viable. To make the new tables really useful, a synchronisation with Excel Online [Office 365 SharePoint] would be the actually desired feature.
Problem: The new Table functionality is great but I cannot export the data.As a Business Analyst I want to export Miro tables to Excel so that I can use them in reports and import data into other apps.
I really like Miro for making diagrams. Each shape in a diagram can have text set for it, but for some reason, that text does not count as part of the shape. This means that any connecting lines go through the text, which looks ugly and is hard to read. Also, if you delete the text, there doesn’t seem to be any way to add new text.I want the diagrams to look like the right hand side, but currently it looks like the left.Left = ugly, hard to read; Right = beautiful
