    I love using the miro canvas boards to jot down ideas. When brainstorming, however, it often so happens that one board will end up including multiple ideas, frameworks, links, notes, that are somewhat connected (because of the mental process that got me there), but they might not necessarily be part of the initial project I set out to solve in the session.Having the possibility to tag different elements/groups of elements and find them later would be a very useful feature for me. I currently use notes/md files/Evernote to jot down “idea snippets” and keep them separated, but the blank canvas interface of miro is much better to allow you to really be creative.Additional bonus: creating boards that are auto-populated with the snippets including the same tags, so you basically completely decouple the creative from the organizational process.Does this make sense for anybody else?

    Small pinned comment when zoomed outOpen

    When we zoom out on a board and we keep some comments pinned, they are too big on the work space.Would be great to have a smaller size for them as we will zoom on an item anyway and it’s better to leave some comments pinned.What do you think ?

    Able to put labels to every object (sticky, shape, mind map, ...) which is available in Miro.I like the labels and mapping to people. But this is not available for all kind of stickies/shapes.. it is confusing why it can be put to this a label, but not for another.

    When I show my board to collaborators I would love to be able to see the cursor of guests to help direct them around the board on a call.

    Comment Bodies and Pointers stay where we put themOpen

    Hi,There is a way to move the comment body and pointer around, but it doesn’t seem to stay put at any time. Even when pinned, on re-entry into a board, or for any other user, a comment reverts back to its default state for, ignoring the pinning or positioning settings previously applied.  After leaving a comment and returning to it, this is where it opens.This idea is simply that comment positioning is saved in perpetuity, for anyone who sees the comment. This would include other viewers, myself after leaving and coming back in, and it would include both pinned AND unpinned comments with regards to their body and pointer (end of line) positioning.Thanks!

    It almost looks like you already use something similar when it comes to your smart pen, but it would also be awsome if it also converted handwritten text such as Plain text or math into digital ink/text.     For the Text align drop down,Current Text Align dropdownI would like to suggest doing something like this:All text alignment representedThe current text alignment is highlighted - in this example I used a blue color.Then the user just needs one click to pick “bottom-center” for example.In the current method, the user has to do this twice, once to select bottom then another time to select center.

    Hello, based on this thread:https://community.miro.com/got-a-question-ask-the-community-45/confetti-celebration-2679I like to see a automatic action for frameelements.Each and every element which is placed into a frame should start automaticly for instance if I place a video or animation inside of the frame it should play immediately just when the frame is in focus.Michael

    Connection Line Text in APIOpen

    API is great, but has a glaring omission for those who wish to create diagrams with labeled connection lines; the connection line text is not available. Could you please make this available via the API (and also via CSV export) ? Thanks

    Controlling frames with numbers on keyboard.Open

    Using numbers on keypad to call frames is nice. But once you call frame 2, you can not press #1 again and have it return to the first frame. I would like to see this idea expanded upon. Ideally I would assign keys to my Stream Deck to call frames. Calling frames with keys is faster and enhances the experience for the end user.

    Drag Note onto Nodes to add to MindMapOpen

    I want to do the exact opposite of this request:https://community.miro.com/wish-list-32/mind-map-convert-nodes-to-sticky-notes-cards-1832I love brainstorming with Notes/Comments. I can create Notes in bulk (or not) and not have to make a decision where they live. I get to rearrange once I get them on the board. Then I might want to create a hierarchy of those notes, such as building a Work Breakdown Structure, etc. It would be helpful to drag a note onto the end of a node of a mindmap (to expand the map). Ideally there would be some way to keep the comment attached.

    Badge on the Note IconOpen

    The Note function is very convenient and is saved, but the display with Pin feels annoying sometimes.However, when the Pin is removed, it is easy to forget the information in the Note.For example, if the Note contains some content with or without the Pin, could you add a badge to the Note icon in the upper right corner?

    Load .rtb file (or template) into a free account.Open

    I want to sell my Miro boards on my website. My consulting service is a niche and I would be introducing them to Miro (so they will have a free account). It would be nice for them to load my template via a file downloaded from my website. The alternative involves many steps, and the client loses the “instant gratification of the purchased.

    Drop down menu for frames.Open

    I like the visual of the pop-out for frames. However, I would like to have a drop-down menu for easy access. The drop-down would be faster and keep the same perspective that I am already working with instead of making the workspace smaller. I like the pop-out, but it takes up too much space.

    I often set up multiple voting sessions on a board, sometimes these are successive and it would be much quicker if I could duplicate the voting sessions and amend the title or areas I need to.

    Separate Pan & Select as different hot keysOpen

    Create a pan tool. This is often “H” for Adobe products. I find the select & pan toggle V way too finicky. I waste a lot of time panning when I want to move things, and moving things when I just want to pan around. Workflow for that basic stuff needs to be flawless.

    Ability to share custom templates saved in MiroOpen

    As many of adapt to a virtual world for the weeks (or possibly months ahead), I’m wondering about the ability to share materials/templates between different accounts. I’m part of a community of Certified Scrum Trainers. We don’t have a common business and therefore will have our own independent Miro instances/organizations.  How can we share Miro templates between us? I ask because with 50+ people trying to go from real world training to virtual all at the same time, many of us would like explore shared materials. Can we do that?

    Hi,I use the same board multiple times including the votings. Therefore it would be very helpful to design a voting only once and then use multiple times by resetting it.

    I wish "cards" looked like index cards.Open

    I love the idea of cards. I hope Miro expands what we can do with cards (similar to what Trello does). What I am not bonding with is the look and user experience of the card. I start with notes when brainstorming. I love the post-it notes look because it is easy and, most of all, familiar. I know my clients will love them. I wish the cards looked like index cards. The existing cards are not user friendly. They convert to a narrow shape (hard to select) that seems to stop the flow (not sure how to verbalize it). I want the familiar look of an index card. That is what a card is to me.

    Generator ItemsOpen

    Define an object on the page as a “generator” that stays locked in position, but as you drag on the item, it creates an editable copy. Like a stamp tool or symbol creator.

    Hierarchy of access for adding/changing content on boardsOpen

    Hi everyone. I teach Foundation in Architecture Interior Design and use Miro as a virtual pinup wall for student’s work, encouraging them to share what they did in their free time and to comment on each other’s work. One problem I find is that there is no hierarchy between teachers and students and that students have too much access to everyone else’s work. I would like that students can upload their own work and comment on others’ but without being able to move (or even delete) other’s work. This helps with attendance as well. Is there a way to track who attended between a specific timeframe?At this point if I want students to add work, they will be able to move other work around too or even unlock stuff others have posted. Is there a way to do this in a way that is more structured or even controllable?Also, I would like that students don’t modify things I’ve set up (like the note etc).Thank you

    Notepad templateOpen

    I’d like an option to create notepads so that teams can collaborate on text--like Google Docs. I’d like the text tool to be automatically activated and operated like a word processing document, so there’s no need to click and wait for a text box. And have the notepad have pages that flip with different designs (side opening, top opening, lined, grid, lined plus open space on the side, etc). Stickies are so clunky and not really a substitute.

    Grant access to a certain section in a board onlyOpen

    If you facilitate a workshop you might need to pepare exercises out of indtant workshop discussion, however the participants should not see the preparation or get distracted etc.Therefore, it would be great if I could grant access to a certain area of a board like I define the start view.Outside of that area the owner or even another role would be able to place notes for facilitation, prepared exercises etc. that should be editable as well.The hide frame function is already nice. However I could not edit anything in this area without notice by the participants.

    Enter object measurementsOpen

    It would be REALLY nice if we could enter measurements for shapes and lines.  Even for notes too.  The screen below was captured from figma.       Ability to rotate lines more easily and retaining the lines length.   More Post-it color options.  Ability to pick a color like you have with shapes.
