    Add URL for jira card for "source"Open

    Today, in the jira set up configuration, we can only give one jira URL. By using an infrastructure with reverse proxy and jira SSO, we have an URL which is only visible from the outside and can not be used internally due to the jira SSO.My idea : it would be nice to have the possibility to define a second URL during the jira set up in order to use it when viewing the source of the jira cards.

    Create a Virtual Reality Miro app for the Oculus platform.Miro boards could be the size of a physical / legacy whiteboard. You could have multiple Miro boards open simultaneously. You could work “in space” with other collaborators. Using an Oculus controller you could replicate a stylus interface Using an Oculus controller you could easily pick up, resize and move objects (such as sticky notes, shapes, images, etc).

    Getting card details to PDF exportsOpen

    Hi, I am working on a project where we have a roadmap with multiple cards in it. We would want to export the roadmap into a PDF file without losing any of the contents while doing so. But for some reason, Miro hides all card details when exporting PDF files, except when exporting into a small file size but then the text is too pixelated to be read. My best option currently is to first make sure that all card details are visible by browsing through the document with a zoomed-in view and then doing an image export with the largest available file size but even that is a bit too small for exporting the massive roadmap.Would it be possible to have all card details visible when Miro performs its “Best quality” pdf export?

    TEAM DISTROS FOR COMMENTSOpen

    Would be great if we could create group distros of the different teams we work with to offer easy commenting/updating of team. Hard to always remember who we need to tag in a comment and/or time consuming to have to populate the person we want to tag. We’re almost always tagging multiple people at a time (see below screenshot) and would make things a lot easier if we could create team distros, and just tag that distro in the comments and it would alert everyone assigned to that distro.

    The ring of Miros timer is my personal sound of 2020 😎Like with Pavlov’s dogs, it does exactly what is expected -- everyone knows the timebox has just closed.Using it extensively, I think there are some more pleasant and decent sounds for timers out there and I’d love to see some of them in Miro soon. I guess we’re all up for a change.Anyone who feels me? 😊

    Ability to Crop GifsOpen

    When working within innovation / R&D we have a lot of videos to share with clients and colleagues. Many of those videos can’t be hosted online and MIRO’s limited video support means we have been using GIFs.GIFs are a great lite-way to communicating and they have become ingrained within our design process to help illustrate / demonstrate design ideas, features, experiences and of course, used for inspiration purposes. In MIRO you can only crop images and it would be great if this functionality could be extended to cropping GIFs also. Currently there is a whole process to crop them to fit MIRO frames.

    Ipad Smart Drawing: Long hold to convert to smart drawingOpen

    Miro’s ability to distinguish between items you want to draw freehand, and those you’d like to convert to smart object isn’t great.  One solve that some drawing tools use is the long hold of the pencil on the tablet to indicate you wish to convert the drawn object to a smart object.    When you do this, you aren’t surprised when the object converts (since you control when it happens) and if the conversion is not as you intended, you’re already in the modality of use where you can easily undo and redraw more precisely to get the desired conversion effect to take place.   Currently it’s so hit or miss that i rarely use the function, even though i’d get great value out of it if it worked consistently.

    An easy option to ask for 'Return On Time Invested' (ROTI-voting)Open

    Since we all focus on collaboration and often work together in teams and groups, we probably all want to know if we have healthy meetings and if our time was well spent, when working together.Hence, I would love to see an easy and spontaneously usable option to ask for the Return On Time Invested. In other words a predefined voting feature for this exact use.The existing voting feature is too sluggish to use for such an idea, when all you need are a couple of seconds from each, to see if you need to change something. I imagine that people vote on a predefined scale from 1-5 points/stars/thingies, in between a short timeframe. If there is a good enough option for that already implemented and I just don’t see it, please let me know.

    intergrate live doc without publishing it for embed linkOpen

    There are lot’s of use cases in team cross team experience where being able to embed a live doc of any kind would be cool, a particular example would be to have a spreadsheet embedded but ideally without having to publish it publicly to get the embed link whether that is a google sheet or excel online.

    Copy / paste style for CardsOpen

    When adding a card, it would be useful to copy and paste an existing card’s fill color (including whether the background is filled) to another card.Opportunity is to be able to better use fill color as a distinguishable attribute for status or categorization. The ultimate goal is to reduce the significant number of clicks/taps to interact with cards. The primary friction comes where there are multiple cards with multiple different styles.Constraint: This would only be a style-based copy/paste so other attributes of a card (tag, link, assignees, etc) would not be copied. Thanks for considering!

    Arrows and lines - just let me drawOpen

    When you draw an arrow or line if you just click again to try to draw another arrow  or line for some reason you find you no longer have the arrow/line  tool.  Instead it tries to select a rectangular region.  The same seems to be true of drawing shapes.  That is extremely annoying  behaviour!  When I’ve drawn an arrow, isn’t drawing another arrow the most likely thing I’d like to do next?  To draw another arrow I need to reclick the arrow tool, when I should just be able to draw another arrow.In aww I could just draw arrows and lines one after another.  I’m very sad that aww is disappearing.

    "Sticky notes only" sessionsOpen

    Feature request: for facilitator to enable “sticky notes only” sessions. Why?Our organization often have participants that are not so tech-savvy, and our sessions in miro are often limited to brainstormingsessions on sticky notes. However, some of our participants usally end up creating arrows and writing in text box instead of sticky notes.It is time consuming and frustrating for the participants, and we facilitators spend time on helping them with the “technology” instead. The option to enable workshop session where some participants only can create and write on sticky notes would definetly be highly valued.

    Video chat: focus on who is speakingOpen

    It would be great if video chat would automatically switch to the person that’s talking. I currently can see up to 4 people in a video chat at any one time but I have to choose which 4 I want to see by scrolling up and down. Not ideal when facilitating a large meeting.

    Raise Hand and other instant reaction icons for live workshop eventsDelivered

    LIke many others here, I am primarily using Miro as a tool for running live online workshops with Zoom. In order to indicate that they would like a turn to speak up, my participants must take their attention away from Miro, go back to Zoom, and find the Zoom Participant list to click the “Raise Hand” icon. This is way too many steps! it is already difficult to get natural live participation in a workshop without requiring several extra steps just to speak up. My request is that workshop participants get a way to do instant reactions, right within Miro. We certainly need “Raise Hand” but it would also be great to have “Yes”, “No”, "Not sure”, “Applaud”, “Thumbs Up.”

    Preview image for public embedded boardsOpen

    It would be great if there was a setting we could use so that when we embed a board we are shown a static image preview (as a configurable option of course) without having to click anything.I use Miro together with other note-taking apps and for documenting projects and it would be great not to need to click and load a live board when I just want to be able to see the board at a glace within the rest of the notes context, not necessarily edit it. Also would be much easier on the memory when I want multiple boards embedded side by side.This would also be useful for showing presentation covers.Naturally there should still be a button to load the live board.

    A simple way to paste form Adobe Illustrator into MiroOpen

    My designer works in adobe illustrator. She has many screens mocked up, with borders and supporting text. I would like her to copy/paste all of that into a Miro board for review by other team members. Is there a simple way to capture everything and paste it in?

    ABILITY TO DISABLE “DOWNLOAD” BUTTON FOR GUESTS / TEAM MEMBERS / OCCASIONAL TEAM MEMBERS   THE ABSTRACT It would be great to have a possibility to manage access to a “download” image option:     THE PROBLEM Currently all users (guests - even viewers, occasional team members, full team members) are allowed to download any graphics file we have uploaded to the board. Many times we and our partners use copyrighted or licensed graphics that cannot be either copied further or shared in its original form to a third party. When we use Miro now, any user with access to the board can download the file. I know that a malicious person can make a screenshot of an image, but there is a huge difference between taking a screenshot of scaled graphics and downloading a full, original image (often with full opacity, when PNG).   THE (POSSIBLE) SOLUTION It would be great to add board-level option to manage a setting which kind of user can access the “download” button, for example: Download images? no access team members only team members, occasional members guests, team members, occasional members Or a list of checkboxes with each category to pick its own combination.   Example how to put in current layout:

    Miro Trello Power up - Link / connect to a specific frame rather than a whole boardOpen

    I’ve been working on many projects now that use Miro and Trello and although there is some integration available it’s pretty crude right now and doesn’t really ‘do the job’. Two small additions that would make a huge difference…. With the Miro Power Up for Trello, being able to associate a specific frame rather than a whole board would be a game changer Being able to create a Trello board from a user user story map frameworkThanks for listening :)

    Lock Tool Bar FeaturesOpen

    During workshops with participants I have noticed that they inadvertently move things or add arrows or text when they shouldn’t.  It distracts from the session and also can mess up pre-made frames.  I suggest that the owner of the board should be able to “lock” certain toolbar features.  For instance, during a workshop, I’d like to lock the connection line tool, the text tool, and the shape tool and just allow participants to use the sticky note tool and the comment tool.  This would make the facilitation and moderation so much easier.  Please consider allowing the board designer to control more aspects of what guests can do once they enter the session.

    Google Data Studio dashboards integrationOpen

    I’m trying to use Miro as an information radiator or obeya to bring together disparate information sources in a consolidated view that all the teams and stakeholders can use.One of the sources that I have are some Google Data Studio dashboards that I want to have live in a Miro board. I have tried to use the iFrame interface, but what it gives me is a glorified link to open the data studio in place.What I need is to have:Dashboard visible in the board Self updatable (or at least a refresh button, like the one for google sheets)Currently, I have to take a screenshot and paste it into my Miro board and this is a blocker as I cannot give this to people to use without having a way to ensure that we have consistent (or eventually consistent) information t be presented to be viewer.
