    Hi, I often copy a miro link from another platform. Instead of inserting it in my browser and then redirecting to the miro app (which lets the browser tab often open which annoys me), I’d love to insert the URL link directly into the search bar.

    Better CSV ExportOpen

    Hello, I successfully facilitated a Decision Jam exercise with 40 people yesterday, 35 of whom had not used Miro before, and it was excellent. We are struggling a bit with the Miro CSV export, which is the best way for the members to revisit this information in the future since we are all from different organizations.First, it appears that when large bunches of notes are exported they do not appear in any particular order in the CSV and are therefore hard to organize and make sense of in the CSV. Also, we used Dots to vote, and it is hard to align the dots with sticky notes on the CSV, so we cannot tell what was voted on. It would be helpful if the CSV explained some spatial representation of what stickies/dots were near each other on the board. Any updates to make this easier, or instructions for best practices to make the CSVs useful, would be greatly appreciated!

    Hi,When I share the board, the current weath of options and possibilities is proving overwhelming to most people I work with.Would you consider giving the option to ‘go back to basics’ where the board is only for stickies and maybe drawing? Or launch a version of ‘classic miro’, yes, it’s just like world of warcraft ;), something from your first months of existence, that was enough for me to fall in love with your product.Anyway, what I’m asking for - give us an option to go to basics, an infinite, real-time-whiteboard ;)Cheers and thank you for making a great product.

    PDF Export Medium Quality (Vector + Compress Images on Miro Board)Open

    Problem:Low quality = too low qualityBest quality = massive file size (hundreds of MB for my current files)Exporting at low quality appears to compress each frame as an image, whereas best quality appears to export every image at near-original quality. In my case at the moment the result is a choice between a file of 8MB or 450MB, neither of which are suitable.Solution:Adopt the strategy that PDF normally uses in programmes like MS Word: User selects level of compression of images and the programme automativally uses vectors and text where they exist to create higher quality file with  a smaller file size.

    Embeded Videos - Start and Pause them while I have all participants watching me.Open

    That would be an amazing asset for creative discussion on video references. You could start the video and each person watching their own board would se their video start to load. Considering those videos are embedded links, that would be much smoother than watching through a share screen as we are used to our video call’s in different softwares .

    Radial "dial" menu for Post-it coloursOpen

    I really love colour-coding my postits during sessions, and one frustration is having to move the mouse so much in the moment when I want to switch colours.My workflow for creating new post-its is to press “N” and then go and choose the colour, then move the mouse back to where I’m in the workspace and place down the postit.A better workflow would be to press N and have a radial menu open up AT THE MOUSE CURSOR with all the colour options right there at hand. Another usable option is to make the N hotkey actually place the note down at the current cursor location. Then you get the style popup right there in-context and can change colours.

    When Frames are set to grid mode, the Grid should treat a group as a single item.Open

    I use “name badges” in my public workshops to help people have a virtual presence on the board. The name badges often have things like “three icons that describe an interesting fact about you”, a headshot, and some text for the name and maybe a role or company. If I want all of the name badges to drop into a Grid formatted Frame, the grid treats each grouped item as a unique entity. Example: Dragging these two grouped name badges on the the frame below:   Will do this: When I want this:   This feels very close to a bug/defect to me, versus a new feature request, but either way it would be work for the development team to change the system, so I’m posting it here.

    Icon Sets Dialog - Add Icon tooltipsOpen

    Problem:Without hovers on the AWS icons, it’s difficult to tell which icon represents which service unless you happen to remember them. Workaround:You add several icons to the board, then separate them, and click on each to find out what the icon represents.Possible Solution:Just add tooltips to the icons so users can clearly see what the icon represents.

    When Slack unfurling a link to a frame, image should be of the frameOpen

    Slack unfurling has come a long way, but it’s not quite there yet. When I paste a Miro link to a specific frame of a board into Slack, an image preview of the entire board is often not relevant. A link to a frame should result in an image preview of the frame.

    Allow to stop notificationsOpen

    Miro is a cool product, but for Christ sake, please let us get rid of all notifications like this:This is especially frustrating, that this was after I saw giant What’s new modal. Seriously. I don’t give a damn about your releases, features, etc. Please let me IGNORE all future notifications. If I like to learn about anything, I would search for it and read it.Instead I see a lot of these notifications EVERY TIME I open Miro board.

    Reading Card Tags via REST APIOpen

    Hi,we’re trying to getting some basic data from the kanban board for agile forecasting. In some way this request is similar to https://community.miro.com/developer-platform-and-apis-57/api-to-track-cards-on-kanban-board-1433 The presented solution via some intersections of the widgets seems to be cumbersome and errorprone.  For our needs it will be sufficient to get just the creation date and some kind of “done” state. We could easily mimic the “done” state via card tags.Unfortunately the REST API not include any tags for the card widget.     Dynamic OpacityOpen

    Story: As a presenter, I’d love to have a way to set opacity levels on content based on the zoom level, so I can better utilize the 3D presentation opportunity that Miro offers. Problem: I love the ability to zoom in Miro. I’ve built many models that have “layers” in them that when I zoom in I am able to see (because the next layers are smaller than the ones at the zoomed out level). Unfortunately, when I zoom in to the “smaller” content it’s often still being viewed with the now “larger” content which can create clutter I don’t want. The opposite is true where zoomed out “larger” content is cluttered by “smaller” zoomed in content. Solution: Since we can control opacity of any content, it would be nice to set opacity levels based on zoom levels. As an example, if I’m at <1% - 5% zoom, content A’s (larger) opacity is 100%, zoom = 5.1% - 10% then opacity = 50%. At the same time, content B’s (smaller) opacity is 5% at <1% - 5% zoom and then 20% at 5.1% - 10%. Acceptance Criteria: Given that I am editing content, when I select the opacity option, I can set opacity as dynamic based on zoom level. Given that I have set dynamic opacity on a piece of content, when I zoom (in or out), then the content becomes more or less opaque based on the zoom level set.

    Embedding kumu.io relationship mapsOpen

    I’m using Miro and Kumu.io for game design purposes. Kumu.io is really good for mapping relationships, but it’s limited to that. Right now, I can only take a screenshot of the map to paste it in Miro, but it’s lacking all the interactive features (highlighting relationships, getting details on items, zooming in and out...) Kumu.io has the option to generate an embed code: https://docs.kumu.io/guides/share-and-embed.html but it doesn’t seem to be 100% recognized by Miro (it creates a play button that opens the map in a layer over the content, which is not bad but not as great as having the interactive map directly into Miro.

    Template Publisher Role for Enterprise OrganiseationsOpen

    Hi, as discussed here - https://community.miro.com/ask-the-community-45/which-role-can-create-and-edit-company-templates-2784 - only ADMINS can publish and updates templates within a company.Our IT team refuse to elevate my design team to admin roles BUT will also not deal with the admin of updating and maintaining our organiseations template libary. Can a user role / scope be created between ‘normal user’ and ‘admin’? Perhaps called ‘Miro Leader’ or ‘Template Publisher’ or something that enables ‘normal user’ to publish and edit templates within the org?Thanks.

    The problem:I’m frequently working for conglomerates and large corporates that have many partnerships, internal teams, contractors, external collaborators… who work together in Miro.Often, they have to collaborate in some way, but their license plans are quite fragmented. Some are in an enterprise plan, some have their own team plan or business plan and some are working in both. That makes it difficult to distribute and share proprietary processes or templates.By proprietary, I mean:They are branded templates, or often contain specific information and processes that are unique to the company. They should be accessed by other companies or users, but they aren’t meant to be publicly available.Example:An daughter company that needs to use templates and processes that are defined on corporate group level.Potential solution / dream feature:A private Miroverse, where any team or external collaborator with a Miro license can access templates that are used by the parent company.

    Master frames (+content) that auto-updates in other boards where they appearOpen

    Hi there, In spreadsheets you can pull values from a specific cell to other sheets or tabs for a formula. I would like this concept to be applied on frames in Miro. For example, I have a frame with information that is always being updated. I would like this frame to appear in more than one board (for example an internal board and one that would be customer facing). I am trying to only update it in one place as opposed to in the two boards. So, it would be cool if there is a way to select a frame and its content as the master and for that it to also exist on other boards but where I would only have to update it in one place. Thanks!

    Loupe toolOpen

    Hi, I have a complex diagram in Miro, it’s great, and I am using it a lot in different meetings. Depending the context I’d like to highlight certain aspects of the document and use those as speaking points, and I realised what I wanted was a “loupe” tool to zoom in on an aspect of the map to focus the conversation.
