    Make anything a dispenserOpen

    What if any object could have another basic property “isDispenser” - so that when the object (or group) was locked, a drag operation on the object/group would “dispense” a copy of the base object? (e.g. as if Alt-drag on Mac).  This would dramatically improve UX -- especially for novice users.

    Line with "|" vertical lines as end capOpen

    Just like you have arrows and circles that can be chosen to begin or end on each connector line, would love the ability to end it with a vertical line. This would be great for showing spanning of time or sections. Like so:         20 mins|----------------------| Those vertical lines would literally just be another option with the arrows, circles, etc. Thanks!Charles

    Automatically Unhide Frames in Presentation ModeOpen

    When you move to the next frame in presentation mode and it’s hidden, currently the frame stays hidden and you just see the grey cover with the closed eye.In presentation mode, it would be better to automatically unhide the frame.The benefit of this feature is that it allows people to follow the presentation on the Miro board, but they can’t skip ahead and see frames that are hidden. They can only see the contents of a frame once it has been presented.

    Time based filterOpen

    I use Miro as a dump yard for my brain. That means I keep dumping every now and then. What I would like to do is to have a filter which allows me to do this →  “Hey, show me all that I dumped today” on this big board.. Give me a global search , much like how its there on Github. If i search for “lorem”, show me results not only on the board that I am, but also across all other boards that I have access to.Thanks.

    Digital pass a sticky note to another member on the boardOpen

    Mimicking the physical world where two people working on a physical world pass sticky notes to each other, wouldn’t it be great if people could pass ‘objects’ to each other. Use case: my designers are analysing research. One person is in one corner of the board and another person is on the other side. As one person sees something of relevance that perhaps belongs to the other person, it would be great if they could ‘send/throw’ the sticky note or other virtual shape to another board member and that object would appear in their centre of view. Currently the person as to drag the object across to where the other person is and this can be very slow if the board is very large.

    REST-API: Creating Board with edit on sharingPolicy.accessOpen

    When sharing an existing board I can choose “Edit” for anyone with a link, even though it’s marked as beta:   Unfortunately this feature is missing on the REST-API when creating (or editing) a board:   My wish is that the REST-API allows the value “edit” on sharingPolicy.access while creating/editing a board.

    Intelligent Miro Templates / backgroundsOpen

    We would like the possibility to add automatic features to the Miro background. As an example: We need to automatically update Jira Cards date based on the placement on the Miro board. We typically have a calendar as a template / background and as we move Jira Cards we need the date to update correspondingly to the placement on the calendar.

    I need to Slide tabs horizontally in desktop appOpen

    It would be great to decide the boards order in the tabs bar on the app. But unfortunately I can’t move them, so the order in which they where opened, determines their position in the bar. Closing everything and starting opening all over seems a poor solution. I think it’s a minor change and you could provide much confort to our daily work.Thanks!

    Setting to default images to 50%Open

    With default text at 14, today’s HQ images are too big. Let’s either “save” the previous setting (as soon as someone downsizes to 50%, all will remain 50% until otherwise set) or create a preference. Who’s with me?

    Official Miro Spotify playlistOpen

    @Robert Johnson shared the Miro timer music from Spotify here and @Kate Ivanova also shared a nice playlist which I enjoyed. I was wondering if we could have an official Miro playlist on Spotify. As part of the playlist maybe throw in a stat around why adding music to workshops is so important. How much more it improves the experience during workshops or pre/post meetings over the ones that don’t play music. This will help people to be conscious about playing music to improve the experience where possible and makes sense to do so.

    When I am trying to lock a bunch of items down within a frame but leave post-it notes unlocked, it would be nice if I could hold down a key and get a selection subtraction to remove items. Similar to Photoshop subtract/add from mask.

    Adding subject to timerOpen

    Timer is really useful when running a workshop but it would be even better if we could add short text/subject that everyone sees with it. We would need that function when workshop participants are in different breakout rooms and we can’t speak for everyone at the same time. With text we could share short instructions of what every team supposed to do during next countdown.example how it could look like to fasilitatorexample how it could look to participants

    Companywide Edit PermissionOpen

    Our company is broken into many teams, based largely on geography, however it’s not uncommon to collaborate with individuals from a different team.  When doing so it would be nice to have the option setting permissions to “Can Edit” for the entire company but it appears to not be an option.  We are aware that we can use a sharing link but those can accidentally be forwarded to people outside of our organization and thus unintentionally giving them more access then we would like.  Being able to give the entire company editing permission would be a better alternative for us.

    Ability to reassign mind map child node by typing in to search for new parent nodeOpen

    I have a substantially growing Mind Map as I found it was the best way to get my web of thoughts down on what all we’ll need to do related to planning & executing a new user/customer research practice within the business as creating these multiple layers (children) of nodes is really quick and I can also use the vertical visual order as basically the order in which things will need to happen (which I can re-order at any time via drag-and-drop). However, there are times where, like just now, I want to completely reassign 3 levels/layers of child nodes into another parent node on the opposite side of the map, but because my mind map is so large, the only way I can reassign it is by zooming soooo far out that I can barely click on the node and then try to drag it to a tiny target area of another parent node. Therefore, what I’d like is the ability to select a node and then select a “Re-assign parent” option in the … context menu where I could type in the text found in the desired parent node to quickly find it, then click Confirm and have it automatically reassign the child node & grandchildren+ nodes to that new parent without all of the struggle of visual drag-and-drop reassigning from two drastically different areas of a mind map

    This would be helpful in all scenario thatrequire different groups of people work (in sequences) on the same board and  shall prevent early groups to a.) alter their original results later and/or b.) see, what later groups add to / do on the board Right now, I have only the original link created to share access to the board to anonymous users. There is no way to differentiate rights between different populations accessing the same link. Creating teams / adding team members might solve this, but that would eliminate anonymity and would require paid members.Allowing to reset the link (like e.g. Mural does) would solve this problem: I could simply use the new link to grant access to the board. Saving the original would allow for a copy to the original participants.

    Guided / Time-Based Project Archival ProcessOpen

    I’ve found that my Projects have begun to accumulate over time, many of which can now be archived.  First request, introduce an archiving system that removes Projects from an active list instead of simply deleting them.Second request, provide guided recommendations for which projects can be archived (boards not changed or accessed within [x] amount of time). Two points of reference for approach are how Windows handles it for their OS with storage capacity / clearing, or via Teams, where they automatically move Teams to the Hide list where you have not posted anything for [x] amount of time.Thanks as always for the wonderful platform, Miro is the greatest :)

    Turn off Notifications on Product UpdatesOpen

    I would love to be able to turn off all kinds of product updates and notifications. It would be great to have an interface where I can actively look for them like “Look what is new at Miro” instead of bottom-up notifications that are taking away my focus. My need and desire here is that I would love to use Miro without any distractions from the program itself. All the product (If I have just not found the settings button kindly guide me there ;)

    Multi-select sticky notes and reshape all from square-rectangle/rectangle squareOpen

    At the moment, you can only reshape sticky notes individually. You click on a single square sticky note, drag the side to the left/right, and make it a rectangle. The same applies for resizing from rectangle to square. A useful feature would be the ability to multi-select sticky notes and reshape them all into a square or rectangle.

    Blurring of tags and datesOpen

    If I zoom out on the miro board the tags and dates assigned to the cards are not readable anymore. This worsens the overview over all the cards. Would be great if there was a solution to this problem.
