    Re-sizing & Automatic Moving ObjectsOpen

    Hi, I’d love to have the ability that frames (or other objects) could automatically move if resizing an object. For example: i have 2 frames next to each other, frame 1 to the left and frame 2 to the right. I start filling them with objects. Suddenly, i realize that i need to make frame 1 bigger, and add space to the right. Then, i have to manually move frame 2 and everything inside it. Wouldn’t it be great if frame 2 just moved to the right as i resized my frame 1?

    Community Usability - Group Types of Issues- so easier to see if already raisedOpen

    While a great way to load issues people see this forum at present it is basically one long list and it is hard to find if issues already raised. Some form of basic categorization more than those below of topics would really help. Also it would be good to see if a topic has been picked up for implementation and expected ETD

    Make student email addresses private in Education PlanOpen

    I and a few of my colleagues use Miro education accounts in our online classes. I added some of them to my team (and they added me to theirs) in order to test features. We realized recently that we can also see the email addresses and names for every team member in all of the teams. Note that we do not have any special permissions in the other teams since there can only be one administrator, which means that the students can see each other’s email addresses as well. This is definitely not ideal in terms of privacy.  My idea is that for education accounts, all email addresses of team members are masked from everyone who is not an admin.

    Adding Pomodoro-style functionality to timerOpen

    I would LOVE to see a pomodoro-style timer functionality in Miro. Currently, yes you can set the timer for however long you want, but it would be awesome to be able to set up the intervals automatically. I feel like this is a low-hanging fruit, and would really enhance the value the timer brings to the board.

    Increase share transparency by showing project members in the listOpen

    When I view the Share dialog there is a “Sharing settings” link. When I click that I see direct invites and “_________ project members also have access”. Please list the project members (at least for those who are project members).

    Miro Points (or virtual money)Open

    As a facilitator I usually include gamification as a way to make workshops more engaging. It would be nice if we had some sort of virtual points (or Miro Dollars) to give to participants in a board, as a way to gamify participation on activities. The board owner could distribute money (or points) as a reward for board editors once they complete exercises, etc.Miro should keep track of how many points each person has, maybe display a ranking of who has more points, etc.

    Sharing between organisationsOpen

    I have been multiple times in a situation where I’m working in a project that has people from different organisations. When we are desiding what collaborative tools to use there always rises two things that blocks the use of Miro:Who pays this? If I create a Miro board and share it to all others, is my organisation paying this for all? What other Miro boards these people can see? Is it safe to share this board?Good and clear information is really hard to find about this case. The user interface isn’t helpful either. We end sending sharing links with password insted of just inviting people by using the email invitation. That is a horrible way of using this tool because you have to keep a list of all the board you are invited.

    revision history could retain a delete-restore pairOpen

    As a teacher, I appreciate the ability to see text and squiggles that have been deleted. Confidently saying I can look at revision history usually prevents students from testing limits. If a student deletes something and I restore it, the revision history after restoring is modified incorrectly; it removes the student’s deletion from the revision history and shows as if I have “edited” the item at the time that I selected “restore”.

    View (and manage) list of boards to which a user has accessOpen

    Now that we have the ability to add non-team users, it is possible to build up quite the list of “Active Users” in an account.  It was also possible previously with view/comment permissions and tidying up those permissions could become important.  However, currently there are only two ways to manage the access a user has to boards in Miro:Somehow locate the boards to which the user has access and change or remove permissions on each board individually.   Delete the user (and therefore access to ALL boards) from Settings > Active Users.It would be incredibly useful to be able to visit a user page, probably from Settings > Active Users, that would show all boards to which that user has access and the permission level.  It would be especially good to then be able to change or remove permissions on each board, or in bulk (tick the boards you wish to alter), from that page.One scenario for this could be that I have a user who no longer needs access to most of the boards to which they have permission but I don’t want to completely remove them as they still need access to one or two boards.  Currently I would have to painstakingly remove 90% of their board access on a per-board basis, OR remove them completely and then re-share the boards to which they do still need access.

    Ability to add non-team users to project sharing settingsOpen

    Background: Our organisation currently uses a team with business plan licenses.Our business plan license holders regularly need to collaborate with external Miro users who are not necessarily members of our team in Miro.We have found it is very convenient to organise boards into projects to simplify board permission management.One limitation we’ve found that somewhat diminishes the usefulness of projects is that we cannot add non-team users to the project’s ACL. I realise on the business plan, you are only able to have named editors who are in the same team that the board resides - this makes sense from a licensing perspective.However, it would be very useful if you could add non-team viewers/commenters to projects. This way, if a new person needs to be given visibility of a project-grouped set of boards, they only need to be added and managed in one place. Currently, to achieve this, the sharing settings for each individual board needs to be changed which is time consuming, prone to human error (e.g. accidentally missing a board) and needs constant maintenance (e.g. a new board is added).Could this functionality be considered for a future update?Thanks,

    Wacom pen pressureOpen

    Wacom pen compatibility has improved, BUT: Can we allow an option for line thickness to be modified by pen pressure? I love the collaboration possibilities that Miro allows. But as a drawing tool it still doesn’t compare to Sketchbook Pro, or Powerpoint. With a few improvements though it will really become a huge game changer.

    Drop UP line style settings instead of dropping them downOpen

     Hello!  I noticed something today when attempting to style a line.  When I click on the line, the settings pop up over the line.Then when I select Type, the options cover the line, making it impossible to see my updates in realtime:In this case, it may be helpful to open the Type settings Above the settings bar, like so: Thanks!

    Show in top bar the company policy regarding customer data on each boardOpen

    Our security and compliance department would like to prevent that Miro user are sharing customer data incl. credit card number. For that I could like to show on each board a top bar with a company message. This bar is permanently there and can’t be changed so that every miro user is reminded to follow the company rules.

    Search 'contains X and Y' syntaxOpen

    Hey Miro-community,I was wondering if there is a syntax or formatting that allows you to search the contents of text fields for several terms. Right now for example, if I type‘Term 1 and term 2’Miro will only find text fields where the exact phrase ‘Term 1 and term 2’ exists. However, sometimes I want to find something that contains‘Term 1, Term 2’Where I need Miro to pull up every text field containing ‘Term 1’ and ‘Term 2’ regardless in what order. Is this currently possible? I have looked around the help documentation but haven't found such features or syntax present, beyond the Filter system, which doesn't work great for thisRegards,Vincent

    Better flow using project canvasOpen

    Dear MiroI am trying to create a miro board for when we are having workshops. We have a project canvas we want to use, which contains different squares for different topics.  My problem or idea is that I want to split all these parts up so that I can fill them all out, one by one and then by the end I want to show the whole group the finished project canvas where all the different parts we previously filled out have been automatically filled in. So my question is, is this possible to already in Miro Boards or is this something that can be made possible?Kind regardsMagnus

    Handwritten FlashcardsOpen

    Hello! Being a student I really miss the feature of flash cards support. Would be nice to have something like a sticky note on the mind map, but only for handwritting with apple pencil. More configurable instruments for writing (lines, marker, erasure size), configurable paper templates - like grid (size and color), lines and so on. Further export of such cards to Anki formats. This is the dream feature for me. Hopefully I am not the only one.    Thank you!

    Mind Map: Photos/Embed/Notes as Child NodesOpen

    Make the mind mapping tool work like a CONCEPT mapping tool:When dragging a photo / embed feature closer to a mind map node, automatically assign said photo / embed as a child node / sister node. Then, using TAB, continue the mind map from that photo / embed. When dragging the mind map, photos / embedded items integrated into the mind map will automatically be dragged together, as they BELONG to the mind map itself. Also, please make 2+ parent nodes generate single child node -→ CONCEPT MAP feature.

    No more blind adminsOpen

    I am a company admin and part of that task is to prevent miro from becomming cluttered with old/non-used boards and make sure that we follow a specific structure for storing and organization projects and boards.But today I am half-blind even as admin. Miro considers me a user as everyone else when board owners chose to hide the boards from other users (which is the guideline in our company for security reasons), meaning I have no chance of guiding people to store their boards in the right places and supporting users when they have issues with finding old boards and projects becomes somewhat impossible. I don’t need to see the content of each board, just the location. Today I can find the board if I know who owns it or exactly what it is called, but its just now very admin or user friendly.

    Calendar App for MIROOpen

    Raised through the Feature Request, but wanted to provide visibility here in the Community. Believe that at the app level, it would be ideal to have a Calendar app/function that would allow the user to create a calendar object within an existing board. It would act similar to User Story Map for example, except it would prompt the user to select year, and calendar type.The benefit is that you do not need to pull from a calendar template. If the template is in Miroverse, it creates unnecessary steps as it asks you to create a completely new board and then you end up copying and pasting that template into the board you are already working in.Seems like a simple app, but I am not a developer.

    Google Spreadsheet: Make it possible to lock the current page, save selected page, don't restart to page 1 on every load.Open

    Hi Miro Team!It’s now possible to click through pages of an imported spreadsheet, but the selected page seem to not save and not lock, I wanted to integrate different pages of my spreadsheet as different graphs around the board but I can’t because after every reload all of them reset to the 1st page.Extracting pages doesn’t help as extracted pages don’t seem to ever refresh.Integrating graphs as “published images” fails, Miro seems to be unable to recognize it as an image I guess.iframe integration requries manual “play” clicking to see content, so it’s not an option either.The only workaround I can see now is to extract all graphs and charts to separate spreadsheets and integrate all of them separate into the miro-board but it’ll take AGES and will be hard to maintain.Any ideas what I could do in meantime? :)Cheers,Georgy.

    View boards/templates owned by member I'm about to deleteOpen

    When a team member is deleted and they own any boards or templates, a dialog box pops up saying that they own boards and that ownership will transfer to the Team Admin.  There’s an option to let that transfer happen, and another to delete that user’s content.  It would be great if there was a way to view a list of those boards/templates before I have to choose!  I don’t think it’s practical to have the list in the dialog box itself, but perhaps a link to a second window where the list could populate?My use case is that I’m a post-secondary educator whose students (users) change every semester.  When I’m deleting team members to clear space on my team for the next term, I get a lot of these messages.  I suspect that most of them are their “My First Board”s that they didn’t delete like I asked them to, but it’s difficult to verify that quickly.  I don’t need extra random boards in my account, but I also don’t want to delete something useful that a student produced.
