    Ability to export frames into PDF as a flattened imagesOpen

    THE ABSTRACTCurrently PDFs exported from frames are exported as layers inside PDF file. It unables to open more complex exports in a tools like PowerPoint. It would be great to have all information flattened in PDF as images, so it would be possible to open them. THE PROBLEMCurrently I am working on a presentation for an on-site software conference. I created a slide deck in Miro:I wanted to download it as PDF and open in Powerpoint (it’s better for presentations because you have option to add notes to the slides and use two monitors for the presentation). But I can’t open the file. From the error logs I can get that PDF layers are not accepted in Powerpoint. The only option I have right now is to download each frame one by one, which will take ages. THE (POSSIBLE) SOLUTIONIt would be great to either:Let you choose how you’d like to have your PDF created - with layers or not Let you export whole board as image

    "Link to" option in Mobile AppOpen

    Hi!I would really appreciate adding a "link to" option in Mobile App.In my case, I use Miro to create mind maps. First, I write down short phrases on sticky notes, and then I link documents from my google drive to each of them. This way my mind map is neat and concise, and by clicking on the links I can quickly get to google docs where I can elaborate more.On the computer I am able to do this, but unfortunately not on the smartphone, because the "link to" option is missing. I often use Miro on my smartphone on trains and buses and would really appreciate adding this option.Thanks!

    Improved highlighter functionsOpen

    The “highlighter pen” doesn’t really highlight. It still screens out the base image. What the highlighter function needs to do is have more of a “multiply” effect on the image behind (see Adobe software, photoshop, AI, INDD).Also, the pen is good, but often I need to highlight in a straight line, or simply draw a region. If the region function has a “highlight” button on the opacity that clicks it into a multiply mode, that would do it.

    Return linkOpen

    When using internal links in a board, it would be nice to have a “return” option.  This would be particularly interesting if I have a frame that contains explanations or background info that I might want to be able to access from a variety of places in the board.  Currently a link can only be established to a single frame or object, if I go back to my research frame to verify some information from a variety of places, I cannot return to the calling spot.

    Need Grid Support in Rest APIOpen

    I would REALLY like to be able to do some very basic operations on a grid widget with the REST API.  In particular, the only thing I need for my application is to be able to list the children in a grid.  I don’t care what cell or row they are in.  I would like this to work like a frame does (frame.children lists the ids). Currently you can retrieve a grid widget, but it only has type, modifiedAt, modifiedBy, id, createdAt, and createdBy properites. I understand that there are a wide range of things one might want to do with a grid and adding robust support for them all through the REST API is a challenge, but just accessing the content would be very helpful for me.   I need to update content that has been placed into a grid.  I don’t need to move anything around, but need to be able to update text in some of this content from an external source. Unfortunately this is currently blocking development of my application.

    Auto-coloring of cells pasted from ExcelOpen

    Scenario: Using Miro as one of the key tools in large-team planning and collaborating.Challenges: Any time saving in preparation and integration between these tools, is time saved by all people involved.  Currently, when we need to copy many items from Azure DevOps (AzDO) Agile Epic / Feature / Story boards, we have to use Excel as the intermediary.  When doing so, we export from AzDO to Excel and then copy from Excel into Miro and the coloring of the items is lost when going from Excel to Miro.  In the case we are copying from 10 to 20 items each copy and paste and if we doing this 8 times, the additional cost (energy / time / focus / joy) is substantial.Suggestions:On the paste operation from Excel to Miro, colors are maintained A free / low-admin integration between Miro and AzDO which enables someone to indicate color mapping for any work-item-type (e.g. Feature = Blue, Dependency = Red, Story = Yellow etc) so that when items are copied into Miro, re-coloring is not required Maybe something else easy :)Thanks for considering.

    When links are set between for instance sticky notes it should be possible to view a line connecting the 2 sticky notes.This is useful when making plans. Then dependencies can be made visual when required.

    Add mind maps to table cellOpen

    I’m using mind maps a lot and I tried to use a table to group my items in a sort of a “time line”.It is very frustrating that when I pull notes and mind maps that belong together into a cell, only the notes is added to the cell and the mind maps float “on top”, meaning any resizes or moving of cells will only affect notes.I couldn’t find a way to exempt the notes either to have the table only be a “decorative grid”. Grouping would have been an option - if mind maps supported that.Lots of improvements possible for mind maps. :)

    Dynamic chart integration MiroOpen

    Miro would be an amazing tool for team huddles and scrums. For this to be effective it would be great if charts in Miro could be linked to data sources like MS XL or if Power BI charts could be linked into Miro and update dynamically.

    Hi!Our teams want to see Jira custom fields of the Database Information and Scripted Field types in Miro Cards, which are provided by the popular Adaptavist Scriptrunner and cPrime Power Database Fields PRO plugins. Also we need to see a Labels field in Jira Cards. The Jira API provides access to the values ​​of these fields in a task. I don't quite understand why Miro restricts access to field values ​​at the integration level.

    Please add a Reduced Motion settingOpen

    Miro has too much motion users can’t turn off. This is beyond the issue some people have with tracking cursors/following people. Some examples:There are animations everywhere (for example, the hover state effect on the template tiles is timed in such as way as to be a problem). The drop shadows on the sticky notes create a wavy line effect when there are lots of them on a board. I have to remember to look away from the bouncing motion the timer makes when it’s done. I dread having to use Miro because it gives me headaches. I’ve started a new job that uses Miro heavily, so I’ll have to deal with it, but I’d *love* to see an accessibility feature that reduces this kind of motion across the board (lots of platforms have a setting like this--it’s worth a look). A lot of people like the motion touches as delight elements, but for people like me, they’re a barrier. It’s ideal to let people turn them off/reduce them if needed, so those who enjoy them & find them useful can keep them (animations can add subtle hints to help with usability, for example--I understand why they’re there). I had the opportunity to determine which whiteboarding platform my previous position used, and we went with a competitor specifically because of Miro’s lack of accessibility features. Please make accessibility an across the board a priority.

    Send elements to (area of the) boardsOpen

    I’m zoomed in a specific area of the board and working on generating ideas. All those ideas are meant to be collected in a different part of the board or on a different board altogether. But getting out / zooming out will break my flow.I wish I could click-right and send the element to that specific space directly

    As the main part of the content is define, I want the participants to have time to read through and start ideating based on the pre-read. Best way often is to generate ideas in the context e.g. creating post-its where the inspiration comes.But if everybody would do that, soon the content will not be visible anymore or people will be in each other’s wayI wish each user can initiate a layer that could be visible to him only unless shared explicitly where he could gather his thought and ideas and eventually reveal it to the team so just use it as inspiration to fill in the “main layer” information required

    Kanban board: export card description / categoriesOpen

    Hi It would be really helpful if you could include an option to export card descriptions and categories from the Kanban board.  Even better if i could do analysis within Miro. I use the tags to identify effort, region and so forth. In xls or in Miro would like to understand not just how many projects, but amount of effort or no. of projects that have a certain tag total and/or per swim lane.Additionally, would be helpful for team reviews to understand what changed from a given date / last team meeting to better highlight updates. (ability to “baseline” the kanban)

    As there is yet not any way to prevent users with edit rights from copying content in the same board,it would be very helpful to have an option / setting for where to put new content, in front, or behind existing objects.  This way even if users copy content, you could make an overlay plane and new items simply would not be visible.

    I want to use "Tag on Sticky Notes" on all Shape, so that I could capture additional attributes/info on a given shape.Acceptance Criteria1. "Tag feature" not just work on Sticky Notes and Card but on all Shape2.     Embed / link images - batch update image list (version control)Open

    Me and my team love to make flow charts in Miro with app wireframes and my earliest designs. However the board is evolving quickly - people draw lines and connect images…So with the current state, not even that you have to re-upload every new version of every single image in your board. You also have to separate every image from all it’s connections - to be able to replace it in the first place!Something like, right-click, “Reupload image” would help just a little - the best way would be to chose from a list of embedded files or even folders that get updated automatically or manually.

    Forward Email (with attachment) to a boardOpen

    Hi.I often receive many emails which are vital for my research and gathering ideas from colleagues, friends etc. In addition, I sometimes receive important emails with attachments that need to be uploaded immediately to a board but the current version of Miro does not offer a feature enabling me to forward the content to a specific board via email.I would love to have a feature where I can forward emails (with attachments) to a specific board. Peer models include Evernote, Trello, Todoist amongst many, who all provide  ‘forwarding email’ features. Any thoughts?

    Linking FramesOpen

    Hi there! I LOOOVE the recent improvements such as the Auto Layout and the Selection Filters. They were exactly what I’ve been wanting. Thank you guys! :) There is ONE more feature that I was wondering about—is linking frames. Sometimes, I think it’s helpful to see how different worlds link to one another with the arrows (L shortcut). I know that we can create these groupings inside a frame but sometimes, to see how the ideas flow, I think it’s helpful to see how larger ideas/ecosystems are connected. I imagine the analogy of galaxies with the universe. The universe being the board, the the galaxies being the frames. It’d be nice to be able to visually link the galaxies too. :) I hope you guys will consider it!

    Pointer for touch devicesOpen

    I’m using Miro for voluntary tutoring (Math and Physics) on my iPad with a pencil. It would be great to have a “pointer option” for touch devices like I have it with the mouse pointer on a notebook for pointing to text or figures. If there were an additional option to the selection tool (maybe only for touch devices) where I could toggle between select mode and “pointer” mode and where - in pointer mode - I would also see the position of the pointer, that would be extremely helpful. Maybe there is a way to do something like this already and I missed it; so any comments are of course welcome.Juergen
