    Miroverse Components/AssetsOpen

    I love all the amazing templates provided by the community in Miroverse! One thing I’ve been thinking about that would make Miroverse even more awesome is the ability to create and share individual “components” that could be used in any board.In my enterprise Miro account, I have a board called “Assets.” In this board, I add simple components I’ve created in Miro and share them with the rest of my organization (using the Save frame as template feature).Two examples:This is a profile card I made for my team members, to include in our onboarding docs. Since then, many different teams have used it to get to know each other better. In a project I’m working with, we have introduced cell-based architecture – and we have of course created a visualization of our target architecture in Miro! For this visualization, I created these assets. It’s a basic empty cell with some component types, and an example cell (saved as two separate templates).Imagine if we could create these kind of simple assets and publish them as components in Miroverse!

    Develop comments so that they're not "dead" dataOpen

    Comments are not only frustrating, but also a liability as most people aren’t aware that they can’t be copied to another board or exported. This leaves a massive overhead of having to manually capture comments.I would expect that:When an object with a comment is copied to another board any comments linked to the object would also be copied When content from a board is exported the comments are also exported.I often need to copy items from one board to another and this shortfall makes Miro so much less useful than it should be.

    Resize multiple stickies to the same sizeOpen

    I use both Miro and Mural and one of the functions I found useful in Mural that I hope Miro can have too is the resizing of multiple stickies to “smallest” or “largest” sizeCurrently in Miro you would need to select all the stickies > resize to S, M, or L then drag to resize them to your preferred size > click to arrange in grid/column/rowIn Mural you just select all the stickies > reisize to “smallest” or “Largest” > click to arrange in grid/column/rowI know its only 1 step less but when you have dozens of stickies in different sections of the board, it all adds up Thank you

    Bulk user delete support for Education planOpen

    Is there a way we can delete users in a bulk format on the Education account. Give our classes change every semester, having to do this one by one each Sem is an absolute headache and super inefficient. Given this type of account is designed for educators, this functionality or even the ability to raise the ticket for support of bulk deletion with Miro would be great! It may exist but I can’t find it anywhere. Even just being able to select all on checkboxes and then having a “delete” option doesn’t seem possible. Anyone have anything that works for them?

    Group Move Objects to Also Move Text on Connection LineOpen

    I might be overlooking something simple but I could not select-then-move text placed on a connection line along with objects, I could only select-then-move the objects. First time I’ve run in to this so it’s not a pressing request, and it might be more problematic than it appears. I tried both shift and drag (per the gif) and click, hold and drag, and neither worked.I don’t think I can change the title of this Wish List item; a clearer way to say it is:Make connection line text selectable the same as objectsFlagging if others find it helpful.

    Extract New Board from SelectionOpen

    It would be awesome if we could select a bunch of elements on a Miro board, and move these into a new board. Prompt the user with a confirmation dialog and get them to enter a new board name first.Ideally the elements that have been moved out of the original board will be replaced with a link to the new board, and vice-versa (a hyperlink element is created on top of the moved content)

    Ability to block/delete change history for a boardOpen

    There are times when we use Miro for things that should be “what happens in Miro stays in Miro” to get honest feedback and thoughts. Unfortunately, this is not possible because if a group uses a Miro board for this, the history shows exactly who did what.  That this is not available is part of your FAQs. When might you be implementing something like this? Perhaps a checkbox that simply hides the history on a board (permanently hides for that board).

    Really love the new voting feature added but it’s very quiet especially when doing remote meetings. It be nice to have music (optional) while voting to fill that silence.

    Gestures, Pen Tool and Post-ItsOpen

    Gestures: Pan functionality:Cannot pan with the trackpad on iPad’s Magic Keyboard.  Add functionalities where the person can hold down a key (which can be modified based on the user’s preferences) and scrolling using the trackpad (without actually pressing the trackpad) to Pan through the canvas. When the iPad is connected to an external mouse (not limited to Apple’s mouse), add functionalites where users can designate custom uses for the buttons (the two primary buttons and the scroll wheel + any extra buttons that the mouse may have). Add a functionality to zoom in/out by scrolling the scroll wheel of the mouse and holding down a button on the Magic Keyboard (the button can be modified based on the user’s preferences). Just scrolling the scroll wheel up/down will pan the canvas up/down. Add a setting to set the direction the canvas will scroll (natural scrolling, etc). Add a functionality to pan by holding the scroll wheel button down. A quick fix might be to add a pan functionality on the sidebar - similar to the pointer tool. Dedicate a key for user’s to quickly switch to the pan functionality and using the trackpad/mouse for easy panning. Please refer the similar functionalities and gestures for Panning set out by Adobe XD - which they have done beautifully. This if replicated or done better by Miro will help streamline and speed up the workflows for its users. Pen Tool:​​​​​​​One of the key tasks I have seen people do on Miro is to cluster thoughts, ideas, and post-its. Another way of visually clustering massive data-sets is to add a shape encompassing all the data-sets. Miro does allow users to create shapes, but the shapes are pre-defined.  Suggestion: A pen tool similar to Illustrator to create custom shapes. The pen tool should have a feature to smoothen the edges so that people can directly take screenshots of the Miro board and use them as deliverables and are not forced to recreate it on Illustrator. Also allow functionalities of filling the colour in the new shape, opacity, border properties etc. See below images for reference.   Post-its:Custom colour selection for Post-its. Custom resise of Post-its (not bound by the limits of width and height). ​​​​​​​Extra text properties for Post-its: All fonts Bold, Italic, Strikethrough, Underline, etc. Others.

    Make lines more visible when zoomed outOpen

    I have my board all the way zoomed and recently the lines between the notes went hard to see. I changed the strength of the line from “line type” settings, but it is still very hard to see.Is this a bug or some badly designed update? How can I make the lines more visible when zoomed out? Please take a look at the pictures below and help me get the lines more visible. Zoomed out, hard to see:Zoomed in, how it should be always:

    Add an option on the "Mouse" setting to "Scroll to Pan" instead of "Scroll to Zoom"Open

    The natural (learned) usage of a mouse scroll wheel is to:Scroll up/down to pan down/up (think documents / spreadsheets / browsers).Pan direction depends on Windows “normal” versus Mac “natural / inverted” usage. Hold shift and scroll to pan left/right (think wide pages or images). Hold control and scroll to zoom (think image editing apps).Having to select “Trackpad” to get the above behaviour (as per a community comment) is not intuitive.I think it would be more sensible to have an option on the “Mouse” settings to “scroll to pan”.Side note (bug?): Selecting “Auto switch” seems to confuse the Miro app as sometimes it behaves in “scroll to pan” mode then suddenly changes to “scroll to zoom” mode while using a Logitech MX Ergo trackball with Logi Options installed.

    Live Preview Of Linked / Embedded BoardsOpen

    I’d like an updating preview to be shown of any Miro boards that I embed (link to) within other Miro boards.Assuming I have three boards A, B & C. On board A & B I have created a series of frames that I would like to reference in a summary or associated board: board C, but do not want to duplicate the frames and get into versioning headaches.Instead, what I want to do is get a link to specific frames with A & B and have them appear embedded within board C, not as a general placeholder graphic (as noted in this similar request here: https://community.miro.com/wish-list-32/preview-image-for-public-embedded-boards-2385 ) but as a linked updating frame.If I make any changes to the frames i’ve linked to: from A & B, then the preview in board C should update to reflect these changes.I can’t edit the embedded frames when i’m in board C, but i can click through to edit them within the context of the original boards A & B.

    Displaying Google Docs titlesOpen

    Does anyone know of any way to automatically display the title of a Google [Doc Sheet Presentation] when embedding them in a Miro board? I try to use Miro to track docs and their relationships as much as I can. But the one thing that often keeps me from doing this is that I can’t tell much about a pasted doc without zooming in on it. This isn’t as bad with presentations, because the title is usually visible on the first page, but for docs & sheets it’s usually nigh impossible to see the title, if the doc even includes one (which it often doesn’t). I’ve taken to dropping a bit of text above the doc with the title in it, but this has a few problems:It’s a bit of extra work, which adds up over many docs. The title often gets out of date. You have to remember to grab the title and doc when moving the pair around. Or you have to group them, in which case opening the doc requires an awkward extra click.I can see that the plugin *has* the title available, because it shows up in the popup whenever you select it. But it would be really helpful to have it just be available (at least optionally) around the rendered doc icon. Thanks,Joel

    iFrame preview that automatically updates (to create board in board)Open

    Hi there, Could we please get a board within a board function so that we can link in a board into several other boards and then it updates across boards automatically. For example, as survey data changes, we can then change the Survey data board and every team members board can see the latest data. Or if there is an announcement I can just add it to the announcement board and each person can see this announcement on their private board. At the moment this is done through embedded links using iFrame but the iFrame preview does not show a preview of the board. Is it not possible to offer an updated preview of the embedded link? Please this request will help so many users working in large teams! Best, Stephanie

    It would be great to be able to publish templates in a bundle via the Miroverse profile to group related templates. Example: I want to share a collection of creative methods that together make a toolkit. For the community, I want them to be able to find and see all the methods at a glance to explore new ways of working

    View boards which are shared externally from board listOpen

    Without opening & clicking share within Miro board there is no easy way to see which miro boards have shared a public link for external guest to use. Would be great if from board list we can have an “EXT” icon showing board has been shared via external link. And if a password has been set, then to overlay the EXT icon with a “lock”, else just show “EXT” with yellow warning background

    Move search back to the right hand sideOpen

    Hi there. I like most features of the new UI - but the one I dislike is moving the search icon to the left hand of the board. Most UIs have it on the right - and it’s just not intuitive to have it on the left. I’d like to vote that you move it back to the right.

    Sticky Notes Instead of CommentsOpen

    Our Users have noticed that guests in our Miro Teams find more value in Sticky Notes than comments. Sticky notes give much more visibility to their ideas. In our environment, we cannot add anonymous editors due to confidentiality and privacy agreements so in order to increase value in our collaboration with our customers, we end up adding them to our teams with editing licenses. Having commenters able to add more visible comments to a board, like sticky notes, would strengthen our collaboration with our customers.
