Would love to have more control over type, specifically, being able to space out letters.
I noticed that the iFrame for Microsoft Stream doesn’t work in Miro. Vimeo works… but MS stream just gives me a blank page. I have the same issue when I embed Figma files. It probably has some issues with security. It would be nice if Miro allowed you to incorporate your own video files, and stream directly from miro.
First I’d like to say that the new submission beta on https://miro.com/miroverse/ is fantastic! But it would be even more fantastic to be able to submit a template directly from within the board you want to submit. :)One alternative could be to add it as a sharing option.
I’m in need of the sticky note info… who and when it was created by and last modified. It would be great if one of 2 things were possible. After opening “activity list” in Board History, it would be great to be able to export everything (shape, content, creator, modifier, date/time) into a spreadsheet. This would also include all shapes, objects and lines. When exporting to a spreadsheet, it would be great if there was an option to also include info - creator, modifier, date stamp
Use Case:I want to be able to sort the rows in a grid / table to bring the entries in a correct order. Problem to be solved / Critical Level: With this function I can save time and avoid misstakes as if I had to sort the lines manually. What is a possible solution:In the option menu it should be possible to select the option “Header” for a grid / tableThis functionality should provide a sort button or context menu entry for the header to sort rows by the column.
Hi!I’d love for Miro to have the option of an adjustable shape in the same format as the lines, with the possibility of sharp angles or a more smooth and adjustable lines.I’ve been using the Miro shapes to mark areas on maps and such, and the opacity adjuster is just perfect for that. The only thing is when I want to highlight areas that aren’t square or round.
The diagrams I create in Miro go on to be included in presentations, and are often annotated using sticky notes. It seems possible only to assign one format to all of the text in a note. It would be nice to be able to format arbitrary text (e.g., emphasizing this selection).
Could we please get a “one to many” connection arrow style or shape? I was a bit surprised that I could not find an easy way to do this. Image is from LucidChart.
With some update, it’s not possible to resize a frame while other editors are working. This is anoying.
I’m wondering if there could be a way to have a default setting that would automatically expand uploaded content (like pdf/ppt/any multi-page document/etc.) without needing to go through the multi-clicks to expand a document. I often upload around 20 pdfs to a board and have found it super annoying that the content starts to overlap, and also that I have to manually expand each document. It’s also frustrating in my case for the “preview” page to also be retained because it clutters up the board and looks duplicative if I’m just trying to arrange content to share out.I would love a setting that would allow me to bypass the “preview” image of an uploaded document, and instead default to expanded documents so I can avoid multiple clicks to expand documents and then also have to delete the preview image. It’s helpful or me to see all of my content expanded out rather than have to click through pages on one preview image (though I can see benefits to both at different times).
When I invite users to my board, I do not want them bombarded with emails about changes made to the board. Telling them to turn off notifications themselves is NOT a solution: Miro should not put me in the position of pissing off my stakeholders by forcing them to take that step. I need to be able to set the default notification level for them before they start getting emails and get angry with me for subjecting them to even more emails than they already get.
Currently, as a Miro user I receive daily Highlight notifications by e-mail for all boards I created or that were shared with me. Those emails contain the list of changes on the board. The problem is that some boards are shared for information only, and are not necessarily relevant for me. I therefore do not need to receive notifications every time they are modified. However I still want to receive those notifications for boards that are relevant to me. The proposal is therefore to have the ability to choose which boards to receive the notifications for, and which boards not. This could be an option at board level (eg “Follow all changes”, similar to the “Follow all threads” option), or alternatively a list somewhere in the profile settings where individual boards can be unchecked.
When I work on a mind-map and it’s already relatively big ( I work constantly say on 100% zoom) and I add a new topic the board automatically zooms out to show me both the place I was looking at before and the new topic added somewhere below as same time. To give me an overview. For a small screen of 13” it is quite unfriendly. I would rather want the board to navigate me to the new topic with the same scale of 100% as the font is suitable for me, rather that zoom out t0 20% so i need to find the right spot and zoom in again. As it might be controversial to what other people want, I might suggest to have a setting “keep permanent zoom” which will control that behaviour. Once selected, the zoom remains and adding a topic navigates user to its position, once deselected - same as now, zoom out and see both places, current and new.
ProblemWhen connecting an iPad to a regular external 16:9 display such as a regular big tv, the Miro app simply mirrors the iPad interface, leaving us with black bars on the sides of the tv.SolutionIt would be great if the app would fill the entire screen like e.g. MindNode does. In addition maybe even support different orientation options in case someone wants to use their external display in portrait mode. It’s a small feature, but it just looks so much better when presenting using Miro. Resourceshttps://developer.apple.com/videos/play/wwdc2018/233/Thank you.
Hicreate a lot of diagrams in Miro and find that while a lot of stuff works really well, ‘line’ are not that great. It is hard to create just lines that are not connected to any object. I.e. a divider line. While this can be done, they really want to lock to an object. If you want lines to lock to an object, other tools such as GDraw or Lucidchart (while much clunkier in many was) allow lines to be better connected to objects, mostly because of more vertices each object has and to which a line can connect Other tools allow better control of how connectors flow around other objects if they are not straight lines. Either automatically (not that important imo) or allowing manual adjustment.Sorry this is a big vague, but possibly also quite hard to get right.

I find it very frustrating that even when i change users to free users that Miro continues to charge me for their seat. I just found out that Miro was trying to charge us for double the amount of people actually using the platform. We want to use Miro widely but it should be quite simple. Bill us for the amount of active users and don’t make it my job to keep track of that billing.
Nice to have would be when we “Create JIRA Issue” it would default to the Miro project in focus e.g. I’m in the Platform team Miro project and the pop-up defaults to DevOps and Integration”…
As a team admin you can multi-select team members and ‘make member’ en masse. You can’t delete en-masse. One of my staff members let 80 students into our workspace. I don’t want to delete each student one at a time. I want to be able to multi-select and delete them all.
