    Tabs within a Board to segment contentOpen

    I would like the option to have tabs within a Miro board so that I can quickly segment content without having to visually navigate to a spot on the board.  This capability is one of the main reasons I still use LucidChart.  In one file, I can have a tab for research, one for competition, another for ideation, etc. It’s really helpful when I’m sharing or collaborating since the other person can easily find content.

    Several Jira domains for Jira CardsOpen

    Hi,In my company we have several Jira domains depending on Internal organisation Reason (cost split too). I use Jira cards for 1 domain but I also want to use it for a second one. Unfortunately it is possible to have only one domain configured.Is it possible to link Jira Card feature to several domains ? Thanks

    Configurable Admin RolesOpen

    Would like the ability to have a configurable admin role, or at least a separate tier of admin with lesser permissions. For example, we have nearly 6000 Miro users (& growing daily) at our company whom generate a lot of lower-level admin type work (trouble ticket resolution, repeatable tasks, etc). The only people able to complete these tasks are Company Admins which because of the inherent permission levels is too much access to give to someone working in a helpdesk type role.We would use this lower tier of an admin role to:Troubleshoot login issues when JIT fails (add / remove users) Setting up new Miro teams and assigning new team admins to those teams Auditing / changing board permissions when boards are improperly shared Restoring deleted boardsWe would like to continue to only allow Company Admins to have access to things like:Configuring the security setup (SSO / SAML configuration) Having extended content admin privileges (we currently have this enabled in our tenant) Approve and configure company wide application integrations

    Boards in this team - projects - boards overviewOpen

    It would be awesome if we could see the number of boards in total, and the number of boards per project. It would be also very helpful if we could filter the boards, and see only those that are not part of any project. :)  Thanks!

    Hi dear miro team.Maybe you can consider providing your users with a search URL that would be used for setting up a search engine for miro in google chrome. Eg. here's the one for jira: https://smileco.atlassian.net/secure/QuickSearch.jspa?searchString=%sIt's super convenient, bc in this case users can search in miro directly from the browser without having to open the website or installing any apps.Thanks

    Preserve relationship of User Story Map items during CSV/Excel exportOpen

    When I export my User Story Map to CSV it simply creates a flat list of items row-by-row.Instead, I’d like to see a hierarchical list of Activities, Tasks, and Stories, like on the UI.

    "My Boards"Open

    When I add new users to Miro I add them under our “default” company team. If applicable I also add them to other teams.Often Miro users are given links to boards within my department’s Miro team because they’re participating in a project we’re leading. However, I don’t add those users to our team, they only need to see a board or two for that project. Those project boards are shared “Anyone with the link can edit” and they’re password protected.I had a project participant ask me today, “how can I navigate to our project board within Miro?” He shared his screen with me and showed that he only sees our company team and there’s no list of “boards shared with him”.Could users have a view of “boards shared with me” or a “favorites” list? Something that would help them to quickly navigate to boards from their Miro dashboard?

    Our team LOVES Miro and we’re not only evangelizing it within our organization, but within our network of peers as well. It would be cool if we could have a referral URL or QR code we could share with folks outside our organization and receive some sort of incentive for referring Miro to our peers.     Keyboard shortcut for "Copy link"Open

    I’d like to have a keyboard shortcut for “Copy link” in the same way there’s a keyboard shortcut for “Link to”.Maybe cmd+opt+K (on Mac), because it’s related to the “Link to” shortcut, at least in my mind.Thanks!

    Locked objects can be copied by the participants of the workshop :(Open

    We usually organize and facilitate different workshops using Miro Boards - while doing this we encountered the following problem. We cannot prevent participants from copying locked objects in the process of editing the board (filling in stickers). In this regard, the following situation often occurs: a participant mistakenly selects locked objects instead of a sticker and, when copying, closes the area for work for other participants :( perhaps some intermediate share status (the ability to write on stickers and move objects without copying the locked objects) could be integrated in the access settings (“can edit EVERYTHING EXCEPT LOCKED OBJECTS”).

    Uploading photos to a specific area on the boardOpen

    Today, when you are uploading photos to a Miro Board through the Object Menu (“upload” → “My device”), they are usually placed in an unspecified area that you can not set in advance. Due to that, uploaded photos and images can easily hide some frames, shapes or other objects, that is very uncomfortable. In addition to that, they are often uploaded upside down. It is highly desirable to provide an accurate image placement function.

    Quick Conversion between sticky notes to grid and grid to sticky notes without CSV downloadOpen

    I was wondering if an option could be integrated into Miro where you could copy or highlight a group of cells in a grid or a group of sticky notes and the option of duplicating or copy and pasting them as sticky notes or a separate grid. I would also like to be able to do the same from sticky notes, setting the sticky notes up how you would like them to be as if they were in a spreadsheet and highlighting them and being able to make into a grid. I know there is currently a work around to do this by downloading a csv of the selected items and copy and pasting it that way, but I would like to be able to do a quick transition in Miro just for time sake and convenience during a meeting. Potential Use Case: a grid sign in sheet and being able to copy and paste all the names as sticky notes so users could place themselves in a group or team. Then, being able to convert those groups into a grid form again. Another could be users putting ideas on sticky notes and making all the ideas into a grid so they can expand on or write more about their idea in a grid. Again I do understand the ability to do this via csv download and pasting back into Miro, but I do facilitate quite a few meeting and having a few hundred random csv downloads on my computer is becoming very taxing.

    Share or embed Object in several boardsOpen

    Hi, What about sharing objects, frames in several boards ? Today, we use links between boards but it could be more efficient to embed synchronized objects or frame in order to not duplicate and maintain content in different boards. Thanks! jmv

    Make Figma plugin for Miro update all instances of PNGsOpen

    It's nice that your Figma>Miro plugin will import a PNG of selected Figma Frames into Miro, and update that PNG if I revise the original in Figma and resync it back to Miro.But I need to update ALL instances of that Figma PNG in Miro, and not just the 1st instance.For example, let's say that in Miro I want 3 instances of that same original Figma Frame (eg. a Homepage screen) in 3 separate places on the Miro board, so I make 2 more copies and place them where I want in Miro.If I update the Homepage screen in Figma, then sync it back to Miro, it only updates the original Homepage, but not the other 2 copies. This is different from how the Sketch>Miro plugin works, which updates all instances that are duplicated in Miro. I love that, because the latest Homepage design is updated for every copy in Miro.Is it possible to make the Figma>Miro plugin function the say way? This is critical for my Sketch-to-Figma transition because I still use Miro to host all my massive screen matrix charts and screen-flows already in progress.Thank you!

    Frames line in IndesignOpen

    I wish there was a way to create frames like in indesign. For example, you could create a square or circle frame that is a certain size. Then drop a photo into the shape and it would match to fit into the desired sized shape.

    User cursors blocking contentOpen

    When working with multiple people on a Miro board, it happens frequently that someone’s cursor is hovering above content that someone else is trying to read / edit.This issue could be fixed, if, for example, resting cursors, or at least their nametags, would turn partially transparent.So to add a concrete design idea:Nametags are hidden globally on users that haven’t moved their cursor in 2 seconds. Nametags reappear globally once that user moves their cursor again, or locally if you hover over another user’s cursor.

    Relative Canvas LinksOpen

    I regularly clone Miro canvases as templates for other work. However, if you link (“Link to”) one object in in a canvas to another object in the same canvas, the cloned canvas object is linked to the object in the original canvas.It would be helpful to have the option to link to objects within a canvas in a relative way. So if someone clones a canvas, the object links will point to the same intended objects in the new clone instead of a completely separate file.

    Allow Users to Star/Bookmark ProjectsDuplicate Idea (closed)

    With larger enterprises projects and boards grow exponentially and then locating the relevant projects gets difficult without having the ability to Search and/or Bookmark/Favorite the Projects. Appreciate if Miro can implement the feature to bookmark/favorite projects in addition to the the existing functionality of Starring/UnStarring the Boards

    Optimize UI for adding personalized colorsOpen

    Problem My team always have a ton of personalized colors in our boards, having to scroll to the bottom every time we want to add a new color isn’t optimal.Idea Move the “+” sign (add new color) to the top of the color options, to avoid having to scroll to the bottom each time they have to add a new color.Bonus an option to rearrange the order of colors, so the most used or recently added, appears in the top would also be great.

    Hey there,I recently started working with Miro - originally starting out with Mural.One key feature I’m really missing is the “summon everyone & don’t let them break away” function… which allows me as the facilitator to hold a presentation within the Miro board without collaborators “taking off” and doing random stuff somewhere on the board. I guess other advantages are quite obvious too.Any chance y’all are going to implement the “summon & lock” function at some point?Thanks :)

    Inheritance of locked components in TemplatesOpen

    I have created Miro boards that I expect to use in a number of events and so I export the board as a template so I can source it to instantiate my board for other events.The problem is that all the locked attributes for components in the original source are not preserved in the Template and its tedious to have to reassert the locks every time.I was expecting export as template will preserve all attributes in the template, this includes lock attribute. Why isn’t this the case?A simple way to make this behavior available while retaining the flexibility of templates is that when exporting a template as private then it should retain all the attributes, including locked components. When exporting a board to a template for wider use then just retain the current behavior, which is of removing locked attributes.When one is creating workshops with reuse of a board in mind then one way is to instantiate the new board using templates of the workshop, and i would like to not waste time is having to reassert lock on components each time.

    Add a warning to prevent users from copy/pasting an entire board's worth of contentOpen

    We’re working on a shared board with dozens of folks creating hundreds of sticky notes. If one single user accidentally highlights a large number of objects and then unwittingly selects CTRL+C/CTRL+V, we’ve had a few instances of the entire board duplicating over everyone’s work.A quick fix would be to pop up a dialog box warning users that they’re about to paste a large number of objects and require a quick manual confirmation. This dialog could also have a “stop popping this dialog up for a little bit” option for folks working on moving large amounts of information around large boards.
