    Make the Miro board floating toolbar menu selections work with MS accessibility settings onOpen

    Hi! I’ve recently switched on high contrast accessibility settings (via a display theme, not an external device or dedicated software) on my Microsoft OS PC. I’ve found that Miro’s floating menu bar on the board no longer displays properly - particularly for changing text or sticky note colours How it displays nowWith a Microsoft high contrast theme switched onIt would great if this could be looked at - for accessibility reasons and for ease of use. The colours do appear if you click a button (the selected object changes colour), colours just don’t appear in the floating menu bar. Leave it with you. Thanks!

    Advanced Color PaletteOpen

    Dear Miro teamfirst of all: we love working with Miro. As a brand design company, what a great way to present to and interact with our clients and colleagues!Bur what we miss most is a better way to handle colors. We have set up a lot of colors, as we use different colors for every client, matching their corporate design, and our own colors. And sometimes we need to change colors, as brand designs develop. It’s very hard to keep an overview with the given palette function (and we’ve already lost it). Here’s our color wish list: A // Color modificationColors can be modified (after being created and already in use), graphic elements in the board will be updated with the modification. Colors not in use can be deleted. If a used color is deleted, an existing replacement color within the palette is requested. B // Color typesManaged colors – Centrally generated and managed colors by admin. Organized / grouped in separate palettes with individual names (e.g. client names etc.). These palettes can be applied to teams and projects. Changes to this palettes will be applied to all boards where these colors are in use. Board users cannot modify these colors. Only account admins can modify these colors and palettes in a separate color setup area.  Individual colors – colors created by board editors. These colors are only seen in the individual board color menu where they were created. Every board editor can modify these colors. Default individual colors – a basic set of colors forever new board, that become “individual colors” (see 2.) of a board as soon as a the board is created. The default color set can be modified by admins in a separate color setup area, modifications will not be applied to already existing boards, only to new boards. C // Color organizationDrag and drop – colors can be re-arragend in the palette.  Names – colors can have names. Giving and modifying names according to rights management of “B // Color types” Would be super helpful if you could integrate this within Miro :))

    Restrict viewing to part of a board for selected membersOpen

    It would be great if an owner of a board can selectively assign areas (frames?) of a board to certain members. This will allow areas of the board to be worked on by selected members only. The owner could then toggle the viewing of these areas on or off to expose the areas to the team.

    Introduce option "always in front"Open

    It would be great to have an option for elements to be always in fron of other elements. E.g. when I prepare a workshop board and add sircle elements for a dot voting exercise, the dots will be behind sticky notes that are created after the dots. Some users are unable to bring them to the front again.

    Add columns and rows to PI Program BoardOpen

    I’m using the Planning Increment Template to do some program board style of things, and I have more iterations than the template includes, and more projects than the template includes, which means I need more columns and more rows, and there is no easy way to do this at the moment. I did see this had been raised as a question, with the suggestion to create it as a wish list item, but I can’t see something similar in the wish list to upvote.

    Replace image functionality on drag and drop uploadOpen

    It would be really nice to have the possibility of replacing an image directly when uploading via drag and drop.Dropping the uploading image onto another image could replace the old image.You could add a key modifier like shift or a small popup to let the user choose between normal upload and replace.Especially when updating many images it can be really tedious to upload and replace everything manually.

    Remove brag notifications about new featuresOpen

    PLEASE get rid of the brag notifications that you’ve added new features!  The way Miro does this is an anti-pattern.Notifications should be things that users actually need to know.  They should only interrupt a user’s workflow if it’s critical for the user to know about the notification RIGHT NOW.  But that’s not now Miro uses them.  Miro pops up tons of notifications that interrupt your ability to do any work with the board.  This results in wasting users’ time clicking through annoying notifications that are never actually read, in an effort to actually USE THE SOFTWARE.If you want to tell us what has changed, USE A CHANGE LOG LIKE THE REST OF THE WORLD.

    Be able to select and move/reorder multiple frames in the frames content list at once.Delivered

    When importing a template to a board, Miro adds the frames to the beginning of the frames list not the end, which seems odd. This means when importing a 20 frame template into a 30 frame board, you have to manually move 20 frames individually to the end of the frame order list. This is a very laborious and time consuming. The ability to shift click frames in the list and drag them all at once would be much better.

    Ability to 'unread' a commentDelivered

    ProblemI often get email notifications for a comment that I have been tagged in. I then go read it, but don’t have time to attend to it immediately and then forget to respond because the comment disappears into the sea of other comments. WorkaroundsI mark the email notification as unread.I sometimes change the colour of the comment to remember to get back to it. The problem is that everyone on the board uses a different colour comment, so it doesn’t stand out. SolutionIt would be super if I could ‘mark a comment as unread’ for myself, so that the red number reappears I can get back to it later.

    MS Teams integration > MS Teams user names in Miro (or at least prompt input field)Open

    A feature has recently been added that allows board participants who don't have a Miro account to still enter their name - at least if they open the shared Miro board via browser and this has been set up in the board settings. Unfortunately, this doesn't work when using the embedded solution in MS Teams from Miro.It would be great if Miro could simply take over the MS Teams user name and then display it, for example, at the cursor. Alternatively, the input window for temporary naming of user (as in the browser variant described above) would be helpful.Would be nice if this would come soon!

    More Closed Captioning settingsOpen

    I would like to see Miro have a better setting for Closed Captioning on the videos.For example: I have to turn it on every time for each video I watch. It gets annoying when you’re beginning and trying to watch all the training videos to earn a badge.

    Connection lines with rounded elbowsDelivered

    Can we have connector lines with rounded elbows? It really helps to follow the lines when they cross over or converge. The curvy line option is too curvy, resulting in some messy diagrams when there are a lot of arrows going around. The straight angle lines keep the diagram much cleaner, but if they had round elbows, it would be easier to read, and the diagram would still be clean.Here's an example diagram where this problem occurs:Figjam nailed it:Even good old Diagrams.net allows rounded elbows:

    Display login link on password prompt page for shared boardsOpen

    HiWhen I open a link to a shared board and I’m not logged in to Miro I’m prompted to enter a password. I can sign up, but I cannot log in to my account. I need to first visit a non-board link to Miro, log in and then I can retry to open the shared board.Please just put a login link on that password prompt page with a redirect after successful login to the board. Best regardsKai

    Connected text boxes (allow text to flow from one box to another)Open

    In order to present a bigger amount of text in more readable and visually attractive way it would be useful to have a possibility to split the text into columns. Each column would be a separate text box but linked to a next one in a way that the amount of text that doesn’t fit to the limited size of the text box would flow outside to the next one.     As a user I want the ability to set the default size of fonts and sticky (ie all user - licensed and guest) will have to use consistent size sticky/fonts. Why - As this ensure uniform view on boards eg Scrum Program Board.

    Desejo muito essa opção de (New Folder), da mesma forma que tem a função (New Board).Isso traria mais organização dos quadros, permitindo ao usuário ser mais estrategico com os quadros. Exemplo:Supondo que tem a função (New Folder)… Eu crio a pasta inicial, dentro dessa pagina inicial posso criar mais outra e assim por diante. Similar a criação de pastas do NOTION.O MINDMASTER tem essa função.Para mim essa é uma das funções mais importante para organização, tendo isso o MIRO para mim se torna INCOMPÁRVEL.Espero que voçes atendam esse desejo, que pra mim é super importante.!OBRIGADO !!

    Hi, we noticed that 2 below scenarios would be helpful to address and make improvement.create or put rights that are between team admin and team owner? So for example someone would have a possibility to clean area within the team. when the board is created as a private or shared only to few people, rights will be overwritten by the rights that are for the project. It would be good to make that change and give access only to few people for a board without creating multiple private projects and add members that need access to the boards insideCheers,

    Hi ! Personally, Miro is my favorite collaborative whiteboard solution. I often use it, and not so long ago... my work ask me why we can’t use your solution ? Uh.. Problem, cloud is definively prohibed for us and at this time, you're not offering the possibility to install a on-premise Miro server who can be deployed. Many competitor offers this at a higher price and i think many company can pay for that. I guess your teams must have already thought about it and that it may not be in your main strategy to develop the application in a client/server mode ... but if one day you do, think about me :) An IT French Fan.

    Display Names/Titles of hidden FramesOpen

    Once of the latest updates has removed the ability to see frames titles in the Frames view when they are hidden. I don’t really understand why it was done and I believe this is a really bad decision.Maybe there is a way to turn it back on? If yes, I’d appreciate if you can share how.As a facilitator, I use frames to help you through the course workflow. Previously I would look at the names of the frames to see what exercises and topics are coming up and sometimes make decisions which frames I would skip before I actually uncover them.However, now all it says is “hidden for now” which is very unhelpful. I cannot go around the board to see what frames are coming up because most of the time the participants are following me. So my workaround right now is to open an incognito tab and look over the future frames that way (just the titles).This is very ineffective and difficult to manage. Could you please bring the frame names back for hidden frames IN the frames window?
