Replace image functionality on drag and drop upload

It would be really nice to have the possibility of replacing an image directly when uploading via drag and drop.

Dropping the uploading image onto another image could replace the old image.
You could add a key modifier like shift or a small popup to let the user choose between normal upload and replace.

Especially when updating many images it can be really tedious to upload and replace everything manually.

Hi @fuchsundvogel, thank you for adding this request to the wish-list. May I ask in what scenarios you have to replace multiple images on a board?

When making minor updates to images on a board, its much better to just replace the existing image rather than place a new image on the board and the quickest way to do that to multiple images would be to drag and drop each replacement over the existing to replace it, rather than clicking the existing and then clicking upload from computer and then finding the image on your computer.

Hi, I totally agree that this would be very useful. My snenario is that I want to duplicate a page and replace all the images. Via drag and drop this would go very fast. I could, e.g. directly drag and drop from Lightroom, where I have my images nicely organized and can find them fast. Having to instead right click > “upload from device” means I need to find them in my mac finder, which is much more painstaking and time consuming - and less fun because it interrupts my creative flow.
