    Miro Admin - Export of Boards owned by specific Account HolderOpen

    The ability for a Miro Company Admin to export the list of owned Boards/Projects/Template by a specific user and knowing with Team they are associated would be a valuable new feature. Currently today, where an account holder owns lots of Boards it is a painful process to review what these are and where they are located when they have membership to 10’s of teams.

    Line tool elbow numberingOpen

    Option 1: Numerically ordered numbers on each elbow (/bend) of a line from start to finish.Example: If you have a line with 10 elbows then we would like to see the first elbow have a number 1, second elbow number 2, etc.Option 2: A counter for the total number of elbows in a line.Example: A counter (of total number of elbows) displayed at the beginning of each line so we don’t have to manually select a line to see properties (but even if we had to select the line, that would still be better than an absent counter currently).Option 3: Both(!) option 1 + 2 😁We know this is a first world problem but the addition of either or both of these features would be a massive help to our design process so we do not have to count each elbow manually!Please consider!

    Would be amazing to mark a spot on the board as a ‘snapback to point’ I suggest this because I often have a reference list that I move out from, to another spot on the big board, gather some information, then go right back to the list. If I could mark this list as my snapback point, I could navigate away from it and gather the info I need, then hit the hotkey and voila, back to my list!Thanks for listening

    Automatically fill selected boxes with different colorsOpen

    I am often using Miro to build concept maps and I like to use a lot of color in these maps. It would be extremely useful if I could select X number of shapes, and click a button that would auto fill all of these X # of shapes with different colors.For example, if i select three squares it would automatically color them Red, Yellow, Blue with the click of a button (it would also have to ensure that the same colors are not repeated). A refinement of this might be to have an option to use 1) color gradients; 2) color palattes; 3) complementary colors.

    Find results should be widerOpen

    Why curtail the width of the find results so much?  They are basically pointless (without mousing-over each to get the tooltip).  Please make them wider!

    Autohide Presentation Mode presenters toolbar until hovered overOpen

    Is there a way to hide the bottom presentation bar (that shows the frame numbers and options) and instead navigate to next/previous frames using just the arrow keys? This panel is very distracting, especially on a dark background.It sometimes slides down out of the way but as soon as I bring my mouse back over the presentation (which is the entire time, as I’m zooming in/out or moving the mind map around during the presentation) it comes right back.

    Ability to embed and playback videos and audio files in BoardsOpen

    Dear Miro team, Please add this feature. I can do this in Clover, Notion, Apple Notes, Apple Freeform, Google Google Documents, Figma Design Files (although not FigJams), Google Jamboards … but what I’d REALLY like to do is to put videos and audio files onto my Miro boards and be able to play them back. Please? Pretty please?

    Small bug fix? Can't undo fill cardOpen

    Hi, I love the cards feature and the fact that you can both tag and colour code each tag and on top of it write notes to expand on topics it’s amazing.  One feature that doesn’t seem to be working is if I click on the ‘fill card background’ and the card fills with the requested colour but then I regret it and want no fill, ticking it back doesn’t do anything. Basically you can’t undo this request. This is such a silly thing but it would be so helpful to get it fixed.  Many thanks,  Bego

    Space Bar Navigation FIX NeededOpen

    the space bar navigation feature is KEY.  I use it more than almost anything.  BUT it doesn't work right.  When you change a command, you have to use that feature (super annoying when it's a pen) before you can PAN with the space bar.  Need to enable SPACE BAR navigation on first click after new command

    Annoying text editing menuOpen

    When write text in Miro, the floating toolkit thingy is always in the way. In this example, I am editing text in this particular cell of a Miro template table.When I go to the cell below, the text in my first cell is completely blocked by the floating toolbox.I wish there was a way to push the floating toolbox aside or better yet pin it to the top of the page.

    Update the Annual Calender template for 2024Open

    Bulk comment position editing for comments on stickiesOpen

    As per the discussion here, the problem to solve is that the comment position is where you click which is naturally the middle of the card, but the comment icon obscures the stickie content. However, this has its uses, but need to solve the problem of having to move comments individually on each sticky.

    Arrow Navigation ModifiersOpen

    I would really, really, like a way to modify moving the view in all four directions using say the CTRL key to move up, down, left, right 100% of the distance currently viewed. Seems like a lot of applications do this (or even just jumping between frames like Sketch).  This would speed up a user tremendously and it’s frustrating to have to revert to the mouse + zoom out to pan large amounts

    We use Miro a lot to make presentations (pitch decks/trend reports/etc) for which we use a lot of slides. It would be really useful to have the option to create a master for the headers, since these never change nor move. At the minute, we created them manually and copy them to each board, but we notice they often move around when they get unlocked accidentally, giving presentations a bit of a  messy/unprofessional look.

    Please can you make it possible to select transparent (i.e. No background colour) for Tags on Post Its?I am using tags to categorise objects but I need to reserve the use of colour for other things on the diagram, and forcing the tags to have a colour creates confusion.Thank you.

    Object Actors & Actor ViewsOpen

    Hello,I would like to submit an idea on the concept of “Actors” and “Actor Views”. This idea was inspired while working through a logical flow on a board that would function as mixture between process, swim lane and data flow to show a highly interconnected system from different perspectives. An “Actor” would be an entity that is responsible for the ownership of an object within a board. An “Actor” entity may or may not also be able to be an object on the board. An “Actor View” would be a view of a board, with or without “Actors” being present and by extension, objects that “Actors” are associated with. An “Actor” would show up outside of the board with other actors and function essentially as a resource list, so that when looking at any view, it is possible to quickly assess impact if one or more resources are removed how it would impact the interconnected elements of the view.

    Send Stickies/Objects to Designated AreaOpen

    I would like to be able to set designated areas in a board that I can send stickies and/or objects to with a click of a button. I would like the ability to designate areas such as a Parking Lot or Idea Cloud where as an item comes up that needs to be added to the parking lot, I can send that sticky over without leaving my area.My use case for this when I am working and/or collaborating with my team, often ideas or items come up. We often capture it but leave it in the area that we are working in and keep moving. If I organize that sticky at that moment I find myself disengaging from the conversation and leaving the working area to organize or create a place to organize them and I lose that creative momentum.Another use case could be when I am sharing my screen and sizing efforts. As we are discussing items, I can keep the focus in certain area and send those items to the appropriate section way off screen to be discussed later and not have everyone watch me put it away.

    Share with Edit rights across EnterpriseOpen

    I am missing the possibility to share boards across teams within an Enterprise with edit rights. You can only share with view rights or comment rights. I don’t understand this limitation. As of now you either need to be in the same team to Edit a board or you can share with edit rights as a public link. The former is too restrictive and the latter too open (as anonymous users aren’t allowed in my company as per our corporate security policy).This limits our use of Miro a great deal. It is like only being able to have a workshop with someone in your department.

    Please bring back image filename on context bar!!!Open

    We’ve noticed an update on Miro where the file name no longer displays when you click on the image. We use Miro everyday to create moodboard and it’s important to know the image source(this is how we name the images) for our workflow. The new ALT feature is great but please bring back filenames on the bar, much appreciated. Besides, we’re not the alone, this Community feedback also indicates that this update is disappointing and negatively impacts their work.

    Editing the internal linked buttonOpen

    It would be great if we could change the look, size and position of the “link” button when you link two objects together in Miro (look at the small arrow in my pink circle; isn’t very visible or user friendly, so hard for team members to find or understand; I had to add a tag to the card to make it evident that they need to pay attention to it). Thanks!

    "Pin" FeatureOpen

    I wish there were a way to "pin" specific elements (like text or images) so they remain visible as we navigate around the board. I find there are often key pieces of information I want to reference continuously, and having them "pinned" on my screen would be extremely useful.This could work by minimizing pinned elements to a screen corner when not needed and maximizing them for reference. Adjusting opacity could be an option to control visibility.I’m aware that notes exist, but I just want to be able to quickly stick something to my screen while I’m referencing it, then remove it when I’m done. Thanks :)
