Problem: My business sells access to Miro templates. In order to allow customers to make a copy of each template, I need to either

  • Send them a .rtb backup file
    • Laborious process of around 30 minutes for them to download and import over 30 templates - and growing! Negative user impact, they simply won’t do it.
  • Add them as a guest to each board
    • Laborious process of around 20 mins for me each time I need to add a new customer to over 30 boards - and growing! Simply not feasible.

Solution: If we could add guest access to projects rather than just boards, that would make the process so much simpler from both sides.

Value: There doesn’t appear to be any negative impact for Miro given there is no maximum number of boards a guest can access, but high value for all of the users involved in the above processes

In our firm we have multiple project and a number of guests.  The teams that have guest frequency have meeting and often create new boards under their project as the projects progresses.

The guests all have paid Miro accounts also.

It would be much simpler for us to invite the group of guests to a Project so we don’t have to continually invite them to each board.  Its cumbersome for us and them.

For those guests that are not familiar with Miro it makes the platform seems clunky.

We are a Project based collaborative Architecture firm and from our perspective and other firms like us, this feature would make a lot of sense.
