  • Marketplace for APPs like Miroverse where developers offer their miro APPs

Hello,

I definitely like many APPs and I use them. For instance the clusterizer from @Max Harper or the Dice-APP or many others.

I know that many of you developers create things for your own need (company) but I also know that many of us average users of miro are interested in using APPs because they make our live easier.

I like to have a choice of APPs that are now not available but I like to buy for them a yearly fee.

So I like to have a real “miro-app-marketplace” where different miro app developers get the chance to offer their APPs and we miro users can buy them.

What do you think about this?

This really would bring the whole APP-developement and usage of them into a new direction.

@Marina do you can bring this idea to the right team @mironeers 

Please vote for this if you like this idea … maybe one day we got something like the miroverse … miroapps-place … or however it may be called.

Hi Michael, 

Thank you for sharing the idea! Miro Marketplace is the place to share apps with the community, and we support our community developers with their ideas for apps to be published on the Marketplace. 

We do not facilitate payments for apps at the moment, but app developers can create a payment flow using 3rd party providers and connect it to the Miro app. 

 

Would it be correct that your idea suggests a possibility for a facilitated payment between developers and users of apps?

Yes, thats correct. I really want to pay the developers for their work by paying a yearly fee / price for maybe a package of apps or a special app that I like to work with.

Dependig on what the developer is going to upload into the marketplace.

One additional thing could be:

Either:

The developer gets paid directly from us users

or

the developer gets paid directly and you mironeers gets a percentage of the fee because the developers uses the miro-app-platform to sell their content.

But however:

It should be a win win win situation for all three:

  • the developers of the app
  • miro
  • the users

Thanks again for sharing this @mlanders . We can think of how this process could be facilitated better, but the Miro Marketplace already allows for direct payment from users to developers. The payment is not facilitated by Miro and needs to be created by the developer directly.
