Tagging single elements

I love using the miro canvas boards to jot down ideas. When brainstorming, however, it often so happens that one board will end up including multiple ideas, frameworks, links, notes, that are somewhat connected (because of the mental process that got me there), but they might not necessarily be part of the initial project I set out to solve in the session.

Having the possibility to tag different elements/groups of elements and find them later would be a very useful feature for me. I currently use notes/md files/Evernote to jot down “idea snippets” and keep them separated, but the blank canvas interface of miro is much better to allow you to really be creative.

Additional bonus: creating boards that are auto-populated with the snippets including the same tags, so you basically completely decouple the creative from the organizational process.

Does this make sense for anybody else?

Was it helpful?

@Alessio Tixi - If you haven't already, take a look at and try the Clusterizer app. Perhaps it will help you visualize your ideas using tags.
