I like the simplicity of the Mind Map feature but there are a few fundamental limitations that should be addressed:
- Omni-directional nodes: right now the mind map can be ordered only vertical or horizontal. I need to option to grow in all directions at the same time.
- Flexible positioning: even when Auto layout is OFF… the elements shift and realign when moving a node. I need to be able to position nodes anywhere without impacting other nodes.
- Links to other elements: linking to other elements is happening only in the direction that doesn’t have other nodes… and that looks weird...I need seamless connectors from any direction.
