Company Admin should view all content under the account

As the Company Admin on our account I wish I had the ability to view/move all content created under our organization’s account.

It’s difficult to audit our content and ensure document management standards are adhered to when I cannot see all projects and boards that have been created under our account.

Was it helpful?

@Angela Spranger - If you have an Enterprise subscription, you can enable Content Admin permissions for the Company Admins. More on this here → https://help.miro.com/hc/en-us/articles/360012777280

@Robert Johnson thank you. I verified that “Extended Content Admin permissions” is turned on. Just yesterday I became aware of boards that I was unable to see. I have a meeting next week with my Account Manager and I will mention this to them.

Reading the article further, if the board is not shared with you, e.g., the team access is set to "no access", then it will not be visible in the dashboard. Instead, you can search for it by name and gain access from there. However, you need to know the name of the board. And when it comes to private Projects, searching does not work.

My view is that the content belongs to the organization, not the individual, so Company Admins should be able to see, and manage, it all by default. I’m currently trying to implement new document management standards and I’m having to meet with individual content owners to review projects and boards because I cannot see all of the content under our account. This would be easier if I could just do an audit and reach out to only the content owners that need to make adjustments.
