Better thumbnail for iframe

Although Miro’s ‘Embed iframe code’ works great, it falls behind when compared to Milanote in terms of extracting proper thumbnail image.

Throw any URL to Milanote, nine out of ten it will generate proper thumbnail image.

For Miro, I think it works about 60% of the time, which is still great since other mindmapping solutions don’t even have that feature.

Would love to see an improved iframe embedding feature so that I can ditch Milanote for good.

Was it helpful?

Yeah, I second that. Miro thumbnails look a little unmotivated as of today…. ;-D

Hi folks, when you say “thumbnail for iFrame” do you mean this one I get (the only one I get) presented with? It is an understatement to say the thumbnail is unmotivated. At the least, an option to paste into it any other image at all would help!

If you host the HTML content of your iFrame, you can set your thumbnail preview image with a Meta tag in the HTML doc head.

<meta property="og:image" content="https://thisisthepathtoyourwebsite.com/thumbnail.jpg">
