Everything You Need to Know About Miro Wish List

The Wish List is where we gather ideas directly from members of the Miro Community to help us make Miro even better. Excited to contribute? Here’s everything you need to know about how to submit ideas to our Wish List and share your feedback.

How to submit a new idea

  1. Before submitting a new idea, search the Forum to see if there is an existing submission for your request! If there is, add your feedback by voting for the idea and share your thoughts in a comment
  2. If there is no existing Wish List idea for your request, then you can go to community.miro.com/ideas and click Submit an idea
  3. Make sure the post type Wish List Idea is selected
  4. Write your idea — Check out the tips for great ideas below when writing your idea
  5. Add a product area tag
  6. Click Create, and voila! A new idea is born
  7. The Miro Community team will process your new idea in 1-5 business days and determine if it is open for new votes

Tips for great ideas

  • Search first: Search through existing ideas in the Forum to see if your idea already exists. You can upvote or reply to an existing idea.
  • Clear title: When submitting a new idea, use a clear title that summarizes your idea.
  • Only include one idea per post: Submitting multiple requests in one idea, or submitting requests that are too broad in scope, make it difficult for internal teams at Miro to accurately assess and provide status updates.
    • In such cases that a submission contains too many individual, distinct requests or is too broad, the Miro Community team may decide to close the idea and ask you to re-submit as separate requests.
  • Detailed description: When writing your idea, add as much detail as possible to help other Miro users understand your request so that they want to add their vote. Clearly explained ideas also help the Miro team more accurately review and scope your request so that we can provide you with timely updates.

How to vote on an existing idea

  1. Go to community.miro.com/ideas and log into your account
  2. Browse the Wish List by your desired product area categories, by status, or simply use the Forum search bar
  3. Once you find an Idea you like, click the blue Vote button to vote
  4. Add additional feedback or ideas to the idea by sending a reply

How does Miro use ideas in the Wish List?

Our team gathers feedback from various sources to prioritize updates and features, using both internal and external data points to do so. This helps us create a roadmap aimed at bringing the most value to the greatest number of our customers.

While we welcome new ideas, we can't guarantee your idea will be implemented, and may sometimes choose to address issues differently than suggested. We're committed to listening to all customers to make Miro better and excited to read your ideas!

Note: Miro’s Wish List drives innovation through user feedback. Here you can suggest and vote on ideas and gather support for submissions you’re passionate about. The popularity of an idea helps us understand what’s important to you and determine the requests our product development teams should consider.

We are committed to communicating with you and giving you updates on your submissions through consistent and timely status updates and comments directly from our team.

Please keep in mind that when determining which features to implement, we evaluate many internal and external data points to build an effective roadmap that allows us to bring the most value to the greatest number of our customers. We do not guarantee that your idea will be implemented, and in some cases, we may choose to solve the problem in a different way than originally suggested.
