I have a Miro Table I am using to capture feature ideas. As we decide to proceed with these I want to turn them into Miro Cards (and then eventually into Azure Work Items.)

I have tried dragging and dropping these from rows onto the canvas and it appears to create a card but I cannot actually do anything with it. The context bar has no useful items like on other cards.

Is there anyway to achieve this? Or do I need to create cards and add those to my table instead?

@AliSG I am running into the same limitation as you and cannot find a way to convert a Miro Table card into a third-party integration card. In fact, I cannot find a way to convert or duplicate a Miro Table card into another other object.

For example, I would usually use a third-party Miro app called Cardsy that will duplicate Miro objects (e.g., text, sticky note, mind map node) into a Card and Miro’s Web SDK does not currently have read access to the new Miro Table cards, so I can’t even create a standard Miro card for conversion into a third-party integration card (Jira, Azure, Trello, Asana, etc.). This is a shame as, one might take advantage of all of Miro’s amazing AI features to synthesize a bunch of work into a Miro Table, only to then be blocked by not being able to get that work into their workflow tool of choice.

I would suggest requesting a feature to convert a Miro Table card into a third-party integration card by posting in the Wish List idea forum – more on this here: Everything You Need to Know About Miro Wish List.

If you do create a Wish List Idea post, I would also recommend that you post a link to it back here, so that future readers of this post can quickly get to and vote for your Idea.
