The only way to do this would be to create a publicly shared template from your course board and then provide the link to that template to learners to use as the starting point for a new board each would create.

@Mark Logan - It sounds like your recipients of the template will not be team members, Custom Templates will not work (they also don’t work for Guests or Visitors).
Instead, consider using boards with Visitor mode, i.e., Anyone with the link → Can view. Also, you will need to make sure your board’s Content Settings are set to Anyone with the board access can copy/duplicate the board.
With this configuration in place, anyone with a Miro account can:
- Click on your board link
- Click on the board name
- And use the Duplicate action to make a copy of the board in their account.
