Can't find alignment and distribution options for BPMN shapes

I’m using the BPMN shapes pack, when I’ve selected multiple shapes it doesn’t provide an option to align/distribute like with basic shapes.

 

Is this a bug or a new feature that would need to be requested?

@Kara T - I will make the assumption that one or more (or all) of your diagram objects are inside of a table-like structure, e.g., swimlane, where certain options are not available, e.g., alignment, auto layout, grouping.

For example, watch the tools disappear when I drag the objects into a swimlane:
