I like to organize stuff with miro. I would also like to organize things for me alone, like my private projects or things in my private life.

So i like to create a board just for myself, without any team.

Since i already can be part of multiple teams, i think, the implementation of “no team” would not be very difficult.

@La_rs - You can already make boards and projects "private" so that only you can see them.

Please have a read through the following Help Center articles:

Private boards

https://help.miro.com/hc/en-us/articles/360011114519-Public-boards-vs-private-boards

Projects

The help center article doesn't appear to explicitly state that you need to toggle this setting off to hide a project from all other team members:

Yeah i know about private boards (which are in fact only available if you pay for a “team of 2+”)

i’m asking for a “personal” board / boards. (maybe a one-user-subscription?)

There is a one-person subscription: the Consultant Plan.

oh thank you, i will look into it

I agree with the OP, we have an enterprise licences, and I’m a member of teams, but if I want to create a board to track my personal development or my own to do lists etc, there isn’t a natural place for them.  I can only create them within a team and make them private, but then they’re lost amongst all of the other boards in that team that I also have access to.  I want a “team” just for me so I can easily find and use the boards that are just for me.

Hi @Michelle Stirling

Thank you for sharing your feedback! I understand how having a personal space to organize your own boards separately from team boards would be helpful. While making boards private within a team is an option, I can see how it might not be the ideal solution for personal projects or tracking personal development.

As a workaround, I suggest creating your own team (under a Free plan) and do not invite users in the team so the boards in it is your own without others to access it.

I encourage you to submit it to our Wishlist so it can be considered for future updates. Here's how: https://community.miro.com/community-welcome-guide-14/everything-you-need-to-know-about-miro-wish-list-1099.

Feel free to reach out if you have any other suggestions or questions! Thanks again for contributing to the discussion!

@Michelle Stirling - In addition to @Eca‘s suggestion, a few other options are:

Spaces (FKA Projects)

Create your own Space, make sure it’s configured so that only you can see it, and even Pin it to the top. More on this here: https://help.miro.com/hc/en-us/articles/21040490154898-Spaces

Tip: Rather than having to make each board Private, you could request that your Enterprise subscription Company Admin consider setting the default board (and Spaces) settings to be that only the creator of the board/space can seeing. This has the added benefit of keeping everyone’s dashboard to be more clean/less cluttered, but it also means that everyone board/space created would need to be shared (if required).

Your Own (Hidden) Team Space

you could explore having your Enterprise subscription Company Admin create a team space, set it to Hidden, and add you as the sole member:
