A lot of us seem to use Miro to display a number of prototypes and allow people to vote / add sticky notes. The issue is you have to grant full edit rights for visitors to be able to add a sticky note, which means they end up “accidentally” dragging things around or editing things you didn’t want them to touch.

Comment only permissions only allow for comments, which aren’t as consumable as sticky notes. Comments are just there whereas with sticky notes I can export to csv instantly, etc.

Would like a level of security that allows just addition of sticky notes and no other editing :)

Was it helpful?

100%. A lot of the reason we use Miro as consultants is to run workshops where customers join the board anonymously and either add or edit sticky notes, and we don’t want them to do anything else - but often they end up accidentally dragging something that we forgot/didn’t get time to lock, and/or drawing arrows between sticky notes unintentionally or add other types of items to the board that we don’t want them to use.
