How does a Note (from the app) link to a Board?

I’m just starting with Miro and have created a Board. I went to the top right hand menu and entered a Note, but doesn’t appear on my Board anywhere and I don’t seem to be able to link it. Is it an unrelated tool? How do I connect them?

I have seen that I can create a Sticky Note within the Board, but that is presumably something different from a Note?
