Team Deletion Confirmation

We recently had an admin accidentally delete an entire Team, along with all associated boards and templates. There was no confirmation email or button, as indicated in this Help Center article: https://help.miro.com/hc/en-us/articles/360017571334

It’s surprising this isn’t a feature of Enterprise. We expect better safety controls from Miro with an Enterprise level tier. It’s way too easy for someone to accidentally delete an entire team with all associated boards and templates - no confirmation email or button whatsoever.

Was it helpful?

@Harley Miller - There absolutely should be confirmation modal window that pops up, e.g.:

To test this, your admin should create a new team, add a board, and then delete the team.

If no confirmation is appearing, I would suggest you create a Miro support ticket:

https://help.miro.com/hc/en-us/articles/360020185799-How-to-contact-Miro-Support#h_01F010RXA0E1S9C0WFQYX75R6C

Suggestion

Given there should be a confirmation, perhaps this Wish List idea post could be to request a forced , deliberate action by the user during the process rather than clicking a button on auto-pilot, e.g., the user must type the word DELETE or the [TEAM NAME].

If you agree, please edit the post and then let me know what you would like the title renamed to.
