Scenario: Using Miro as one of the key tools in large-team planning and collaborating.
Challenges: Any time saving in preparation and integration between these tools, is time saved by all people involved. Currently, when we need to copy many items from Azure DevOps (AzDO) Agile Epic / Feature / Story boards, we have to use Excel as the intermediary. When doing so, we export from AzDO to Excel and then copy from Excel into Miro and the coloring of the items is lost when going from Excel to Miro. In the case we are copying from 10 to 20 items each copy and paste and if we doing this 8 times, the additional cost (energy / time / focus / joy) is substantial.
Suggestions:
- On the paste operation from Excel to Miro, colors are maintained
- A free / low-admin integration between Miro and AzDO which enables someone to indicate color mapping for any work-item-type (e.g. Feature = Blue, Dependency = Red, Story = Yellow etc) so that when items are copied into Miro, re-coloring is not required
- Maybe something else easy :)
