Inviting Anonymous Guest Editors - can´t enable Public access to the board by link

Hi there!

I´m on Team Plan esp. to collaborate with Guest editors but I can´t make it work. When I click the share button it neither shows “Public access to the board by link” nor a possibility to choose their roll in the white board.

Any suggestions?

Thanks alot, Uli

That is pretty bizarre @Uli SchuchArt - I’ve never seen that share dialog before.

How are you accessing Miro as here’s what I get both in a free plan account I have as well as in our paid plan account from both the PC desktop app as well as through Google Chrome:

@Uli SchuchArt -

Can you post a screenshot of what you are seeing in the Share dropdown menu?

Also, are you the owner of the board?

Kiron

Hi Kiron.
Thanks for your help.
Yes, I´m the owner of the board.

There is no dropdown menu, this is what pops up when I press share.

Cheers, Uli

Hi Kiron.

I still don´t know why it didn´t work with the Online Version. But your hint to use the desktop app made the difference. Now it looks as it should.

Thanks alot, Uli

@Uli SchuchArt -

Great to hear that you were able to work around this through the desktop app!

Which browser were you using to access Miro? Is it one of the ones on this list: https://help.miro.com/hc/en-us/articles/360017572814-Supported-Browsers ?

If so, then I’d suggest letting the Miro support team know…

Kiron

I’m experiencing the same problem however I get the same share dialog on both Chrome browser and Max desktop app. I do not see an option to make public as the documentation states.

@Brian Miller -

Are you on a paid plan or the free plan?
