Can you change the background color on a Kanban board?

Unfortunately not. Even if you put the Kanban board within a frame, you’ll get a colored outline around the board but not the board itself.

I’d suggest checking the wish list (search using the filter Ideas) for any similar enhancement requests which have been created in the past as there quite a few for the Kanban board capability and if you find a matching one, upvote it.
