Fixing comments in a table

  • Beginner

Hello,
we are working in a shared table using comments to well...comment. The problem: Every time someone expands the table (by writing long texts or adding a new column) the existing comments are moving in the direction of the expansion.

Is there any way to "fix" comments so that they stay in the position where someone put them?

Thanks for your help!

Unfortunately not - this is the “by design” behavior. The workaround would be to use something else such as a sticky note for individual comments as those can be independently locked.

If that workaround is unsuitable, I’d suggest adding a wish list item following the guidelines here: Wish List: Everything You Need to Know 🌠 | Miro
