Manual and auto detection of Mouse and Trackpad break every minute


Manual selection or Auto-detect break all the time in Miro. I need to fix it every minute now. It’s been broken for years, but refreshing page and switching between manual and auto-detect back and and forward kept it working for bit longer than currently.

@Oxana Kyllonen - I have never experienced this myself.

How are you accessing Miro? The Miro desktop app or a browser (and if so, which browser?)

And what is your OS? (Mac? Windows?)

Thanks Robert.  I was looking how to open a ticket and eventually found only this forum. Will report the issue now too. 
 

I’m using Miro in Chrome browser, on Windows OS, Dell laptop. When I undock my laptop, I use touchpad, and when it’s docked - a mouse with Miro. Previously I just had to manually switch between the two, when docking / unlocking, as automatic detection never worked. Now something changed and manual switch doesn’t work either anymore (see original message).

@Oxana Kyllonen  - Yeah, something in the process does seem to be confusing Miro.

Once you have an answer from Miro support (and hopefully a resolution) it could be helpful for other community members if you were to copy-paste the outcome here 🙏
