How to make the font size of a Card larger than the default.

Is there a way to increase the font on Cards?

 

There seems to be one font size only when using cards.

This means when we Print to PDF to show timelines or roadmaps to our stakeholders (non-miro users) the printed font on the cards is too hard to read (or if we copy and paste into a PowerPoint).

Thanks for reaching out! card text has a fixed font size and can't be adjusted. However, a workaround you can try is adding a separate text box inside the card, which allows you to control the font size.

To do this:

  1. Drag a Text object into the card.
  2. Resize and format it to fit your needs.
  3. Group the card and the text box together

     

  4. This text will remain inside the card, making it more readable when exporting to PDF or copying to PowerPoint.

Thank you - that's a lot of extra work for being able to print out a readable view of font when using cards.

Plus i am not sure how it would work with linking to Jira.

I understand how this can be frustrating, especially when working with stakeholders or linking to Jira. Right now, the fixed font size in cards does limit readability when exporting.

 

If printing readability is a priority, an alternative could be using Sticky Notes or Text objects instead of Cards for key details—since their font sizes can be adjusted. However, I know this isn’t ideal if you're relying on Jira integration.

 

I’d definitely recommend upvoting the idea I shared earlier, as more votes can help prioritize improvements to card text customization.
