[KNOWN BUG] Unable to Leave Team – Still Showing in the Group

Hi, I recently left a team on Miro, but my account still appears in the team. I have tried refreshing the page, logging out and back in, but the issue persists.

Is there any way to completely remove myself from the team? Or does the admin need to take any additional actions?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

@kyle Zhang  - This is a known issue for which I have a support ticket (#823508) open for.

I’ll update this post as I hear back from the support team.

If you are using a paid Miro subscription, you could open your support ticket by following these instructions:

https://help.miro.com/hc/en-us/articles/360020185799-How-to-contact-Miro-Support#h_01F010RXA0E1S9C0WFQYX75R6C

My latest update from the support team:

I understand that the deleted team is still visible in the Spaces dashboard team picker, and I'm here to help.

The engineering team is aware of the issue you reported and is actively investigating it. I’ve also forwarded your case and comments to them for further review.

Was it helpful?

Hi Robert,

Thanks for the update and for forwarding my case to the engineering team. I understand that this is a known issue and is being investigated. In the meantime, is there any workaround I can try to remove myself from the team? Also, do you have an estimated timeframe for when this issue might be resolved?

Thanks again for your support!

Hi @kyle Zhang.

Thanks for the update and for forwarding my case to the engineering team.

Just to confirm, I did not forward your case to the support team. I have my own ticket open, but if you wanted to open your own ticket, you can do so by following these steps:

https://help.miro.com/hc/en-us/articles/360020185799-How-to-contact-Miro-Support#h_01F010RXA0E1S9C0WFQYX75R6C

In the meantime, is there any workaround I can try to remove myself from the team?

If you are, indeed, experiencing the the same bug that I am, the issues appears to be that, even though you have left a team (or in my case, the team was deleted), the team remains/is stuck in our team selection dropdown. From your screenshot, it does appear that you have successfully left the team and are no longer a member of the team:

Also, do you have an estimated timeframe for when this issue might be resolved?

Being a volunteer moderator of this forum, unfortunately, I have no insights into the Miro’s internal discussions around bug fixes and, instead, must relay on what the support team tells me.

Hi Robert,

Got it! So at this point, the only thing we can do is wait for the fix, right? 😅

Thanks again for your help!
