Miro, You are disappointing your Top 1% Chinese Users

Miro, Please help. I previously achieved the honor of being in the top 1% of Miro users, but now I’m really disappointed.

  • I am a heavy Chinese user (a startup founder).
  • I use Miro every single day.
  • Everyone in my company uses Miro.
  • From Agile to stand-up meetings to OGSM to all brainstorming sessions, everything is done on Miro.
  • Miro is an essential part of my life.
  • Even my girl friend is just as passionate about Miro as I am, we plan our life on miro.

And yet, we all suffer from the poor Chinese typing experience! (We are using the Desktop app)

Recently, Miro's support for Chinese typing has worsened significantly (as shown in the video).
Can you imagine how much my productivity has dropped because of this?

Additionally, several feature requests I previously mentioned have seen no updates.

Please help us! Miro is truly critical to our lives!

Otherwise, for risk management, we may have to start exploring FigJam …. :(((((

Hi @johnny850807,

Thank you for sharing your experience and for being such a dedicated Miro user. I understand how important Miro is to your daily workflow, and I’m sorry to hear about the difficulties you’re facing with Chinese typing on the desktop app.

I’ve asked the team to check on the backend since I haven’t seen a report on this issue yet. If possible, could you also submit a support ticket https://help.miro.com/hc/en-us/articles/360020185799-How-to-contact-Miro-Support with details about your setup (OS, Miro version, input method used)? This will help the team investigate further.

I also encourage others who are experiencing this to upvote your feature request: here so the team can better prioritize improvements. I appreciate your patience, and I’ll update this thread if I hear anything new!
