Hey Team,

We need to find out how to manage the free-to-paid license transition within the app to avoid automatic assignment of paid licenses when users edit Miro content. Additionally, we need to disable the invite users option to prevent individuals from inviting users due to security concerns.

Thanks

Hi @Rohan123

Thanks for reaching out!

We need to find out how to manage the free-to-paid license transition within the app to avoid automatic assignment of paid licenses when users edit Miro content.

If you are on Starter plan, you may share the board with your collaborators as visitors. In this way, collaborators will not be added as paid users once they edit the board.

If you are on Business or Enterprise plans, you can enable guest users to collaborate with you.

  1. Go to Permissions and scroll down to Invitation settings
  2. Under the Guests section choose  Don’t allow or Allow

In this way, once they edit the board, users are not added to your paid licenses.

Additionally, we need to disable the invite users option to prevent individuals from inviting users due to security concerns.

If you have the Admin role, you can modify this in the Settings.

If you are on Business or Enterprise, you can set up your Permission settings like the one instructed above. However, you need to do this in each team. Another workaround would be to go to your Company Settings and set up SSO or Domain Control. Learn more here: Domain Control | SSO

Hope this helps! Please let me know if you need further assistance!
