Auto Arranging mind map nodes

When I more a branch or textbox, all of the other text boxes move to, and it’s infuriating, how do I turn this off.

Before Moving Textbox
After Moving Textbox (Only 1!)

I see what you are saying now. Even with Auto layout off, Miro wants to force space in between nodes. While this can ensure readability, it can also limit the user’s ability to build a map exactly was they want.

I’d recommend adding this as an Idea in the Wish List category by following the guidelines here: Wish List: Everything You Need to Know.

@Alex Koppenhaver - Because you mentioned "branch" I will assume you are referring to mind map nodes when you talk about textboxes.

It sounds like you'll want to select the root/main node and disable auto layout as shown here:

@Robert Johnson  I’ve tried that, and it already is off, amd yes I’m using mind map nodes.
