[KNOWN BUG] Mind map bug doesn't let me expand child nodes

@Rafael Leto Have you tried copy-pasting it into another board and see if it behaves differently? And in the Miro desktop app, have you reset application data?

Have you tried duplicating the board?

If there is no confidential or sensitive data on the board, I could try opening the it to see if it works for me. You could set the “Anyone with the link” access to “Can view” and directly message me the board link: https://community.miro.com/members/robert-johnson-304

@Henrik Ståhl I’ve duplicated the board and tried copy-paste and it didn’t work as well.

Tried “reset application data” option and it didn’t work.

Seems like the expand/collapse feature has caused some unexpected behaviors in mind maps, I've seen a few other bugs reported by users. Most of them were solved through clearing cache etc though. I hope Miro can help you with your issues @Rafael Leto!

I even tried to download the mind map data using the Mindmap Downloader app, in hopes that all of the text entered in the hidden nodes could be retrieved but I get this error:

Indeed there's a bug on our end that causes this behavior. The good news is that the team is already aware of the issue and is currently working on a fix for it. We're bringing our sincere apologies for all the inconvenience it causes!

@Rafael Leto - Just checking in to see if you received any further replies from Miro support about this issue?

Encountered the same issue as the TS. The expand/collapse feature suddenly stopped working in my board. What I already tried to do: restarting, log in / log out, clearing the cache, incognito mode, making a copy of the board, duplicating the board, copying the mindmap only and pasting it to another board and to another place of the same board etc. 

I’m allowed to create new branches from the parent node, but no child nodes expansion is available. 

Could there be any limit for new nodes / shapes for those using the free version?

Could anyone please help me reach the Support team?

The conversation of Rafael with the support team was closed since Feb of 2023. Also, the team was able to release a fix to resolve the bug.

On that note, @Ecaterina Timciuc you mentioned that you encountered the same issue. Kindly try the troubleshooting steps here and if the issue persists, kindly let the support team know via this link about the issue so they can further investigate.
