Owner of a Miro Board leaving the company

I work on a Miro board as a ‘co-owner’. The owner of this Miro board is about to leave the company. Questions -

  1. Once they leave, do I automatically get the Owner access?
  2. Do I lose the board?
  3. Do they need to make me the Owner before leaving?

Thanks for asking your question!

Once the board owner leaves, the board ownership will be transferred to the Team Admin. Thus, I recommend the user transfers board ownership to you before leaving. The process is simple. Please ask the board owner to do the following:

  1. Click Sharing settings on the board Share menu.
  2. Choose Is owner next to their name
  3. Click Change ownership to confirm.

Alternatively, you can just duplicate the board. Have a nice day!
