Mindmap initial oval fill

Hello,

For the life of me, I cannot figure out how to fill the initial oval of my mindmap. I’ve tried the highlighter, however if you go over even a little bit of what you highlighted, it causes that area to appear darker than the rest of the highlighted area. 

i can change the color of the outline of the oval, but no fill.
