Are homeschoolers allowed to get education plan accounts?

Hello!

I’m a homeschooler, and would love to upgrade to the education plan. I plan to share it with other members of my learning pod (NOT a school) but due to the nature of being homeschooled, I have no .edu or .k12 email.

I do technically have .edu emails I use for dual-enrollment but I suspect that since I’m not officially enrolled in the colleges that this wouldn’t work.

Any advice?

Was it helpful?

@Karinna F - I would suggest asking the Miro support team this question.

If you have a website/domain name, I would include that in your request.

I want to know more about this option too, and we indeed have a Homeschool Co-op domain and even a Google Workspace for Education (for Homeschool orgs).

Hi @Michael Turner

Great question! While the Education Plan is designed for accredited institutions, homeschoolers may still be eligible under certain conditions.

For more guidance, I recommend checking out this thread: Here’s what to do if your email isn’t accepted for the Education Plan. It has steps on how to apply and what to do if your email isn't recognized.

Hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other questions.
