Does anyone know why the desktop app by Miro is an .exe file and it does not install on your PC? So meaning I have opened the app numerous times, and have a shortcut I created in my taskbar at bottom. But if I delete the .exe downloaded file, the shortcut no longer works. Seems really odd.

+13For context, why are you asking? Is there something that isn’t working? Is there a problem that you are trying to solve? I am genuinely curious, as may be other readers.
Yes i don’t like saving exe files in my backups as a general rule of thumb.
