PROBLEM: For all of us who work most of the time on our desktop/laptop, keeping track of all the comments and mentions can become very hard if we're relying on email messages since not everyone uses Slack.

IDEA: A desktop notification feature would be very welcome (a simple toast message would do the job), specially if it can be configured as a new channel on the team settings page (where nowadays we have email, mobile push and slack)

Was it helpful?

Totally agree! I would love them on Mac OS.

I can’t believe this isn’t already a feature. Miro has native apps everywhere. Native notifications seem like the only thing preventing it from being a fully standalone collaboration app.

Would love this feature, as the OSX notification center helps me manage that chaos of multiple apps that each generate their own notifications (Confluence, Teams, Slack, Miro, Airtable, Outlook, Figma, office apps, etc.)

I really hope this doesn’t languish in the sea of other requests—it’s wild that this doesn’t exist already!

This is essential!!! I got to say, we just switched to Miro from a different platform, and I’m incredibly disappointed that this feature isn’t here.

Push notifications seems like a super basic feature in 2024.

Literally every productivity and collaboration app I can think of has it.

Please Miro, fix this.
