Author of Sticky Notes should update when Copied

Using the common and intuitive tool path of copying existing Sticky Notes as a starting point results in INCORRECT AUTHOR and invalidates the Show Author feature.

 

When a sticky note is created via COPY or TEMPLATE it’s authorship should be the person that copied it, not the person that created the original.

I agree.

My team have had the exact same issue. Since it’s naturally easier and more intuitive for people to duplicate other’s stickies and update the content, the author tag was messed up. At least the author of the duplicated note should be the person who created the copy.
