Whether it’s freelancers, contractors, agencies, or anyone outside your team, it takes a village to move projects from kickoff to completion. We’re making it easier and more secure to support external collaboration with a new role in beta: guests. It’s totally free and exclusively for our Business and Consultant Plan users. We’ve also simplified our existing roles to empower collaboration at every level: Anonymous guest editors are now visitors. Non-team members are now guests.Check out the image below to see when we recommend using which role and the differences between them: If you have any questions or feedback, feel free to leave a comment below and we’ll help you out. Happy collaborating, Dominique

Hi Community,We want to let you know about an upcoming visual change to your Miro dashboard. As part of a design update, the illustrations of your board thumbnails will change. This update will take place on September 6, 2023. This change will only take place on thumbnails with Miro-provided illustrations. Boards where you selected a board area preview or uploaded an image as the thumbnail will not be affected. To make this change as seamless as possible, the new illustrations have the same intent as the previous ones. There will also be minor changes to the UI, but the most noticeable change will be the board thumbnails, which is why we wanted to give you — our community — a heads up first. Let us know your thoughts or if you have any questions for our team in the comments below 💬

Hi everyone! This one’s for our Enterprise customers. Company Admins can now enable Content Admin permissions for extended permissions to manage projects, boards (e.g. delete, transfer, or move boards and download board backups), and company templates without needing to request permission from board owners to do so. This gives admins the greater ability to better organize and administer the workspace in general. You’ll never have to say or think any of these again: “I just want to get rid of all these “untitled” blank boards. Can’t I just delete them?!” “I don’t need permissions to edit and see actual board content; I just need to have permissions to change the permissions for others.” “I get emails like ‘can you give me access to this board’ and employees send me a link. But after clicking the link, I can’t do anything because I need to request access from the board owner.” Want to enable Content Admin permission on your account? We’ll only enable this feature b
