The Miroverse community is gearing up for a historic moment: a creative challenge developed and led by three community group leaders!

This challenge is centered around the theme of EMPLOYEE EXPERIENCE and runs from April 7-30. This is your chance to showcase your talents and contribute to the growth and development of the community as well as to your own company and employee experience.

→Enter the challenge

From the moment someone looks at the job listing to the moment they move on to a new company, everything that the person learns, does, sees, and feels contributes to their employee experience.

Your challenge is to create a template for any part of that experience, such as

  • employee onboarding

  • individual development plans

  • Org charts that are engaging and fun

  • creative work portfolios that can boost your performance reviews

  • And more

The Details

  • Submission period: April 7-30

  • Community voting (by likes and copies): April 7-30

  • Judging: May 1-2

  • Winners announced: May 3

Voting and judging

Judging will be based on:

  • relevance

  • template layout attractiveness

  • ease of use (meaning it has explicit instructions)

The Miro Team’s Choice will be awarded by asynchronous voting of expert judges. The winner gets an iPad.

The People’s Choice will be awarded based on the most likes and copies for each template in Miroverse before April 30. The prize is an Amazon gift card.

Anyone who participates by publishing a template will get a Miro swag shop coupon code. You can submit as many templates as you want to increase your chances for the Miro and People’s Choice awards, but there’s only 1 swag code per person.

How to participate

To enter the competition, please submit your template to Miroverse and make sure to select the MONTHLY CHALLENGE category during submission. After your submission is approved for publishing, please check out the related category to verify that it appears correctly.

By participating in the challenge, you agree that your submission may be published and used for promotional activities by Miro

For inspiration

And on April 14, Said, Johanny, and Henrik will run a WORKSHOP where they will cover:

  • Gamification examples in employee experience

  • Employee experience design best practices

  • Inspiring employee experience examples that transform the future of work

Joining the workshop is not a requirement. If you feel confident with your template creation skills on this topic, no need to attend the workshops — but it’ll be lots of fun and VERY inspiring, sparkling up new ideas for your templates and everyday work 😊

→Sign up for a workshop

And don’t hesitate to check out:

  • Henrik’s story on how he approached the challenge to set individual goals for a team consisting of 10-ish developers with the help of Miroverse templates.
  • Said’s expectations on what he would like to see as submissions.
