    We allow BYOD and use mobile security features provided by SaaS to prevent business data from leaving the app. I would like to see Miro provide the feature to block the downloading of files, the exporting of boards, and the copying of content on boards.

    Closing Tabs And SavingOpen

    allow me to change font sizes and line spacing in text boxesDuplicate Idea (closed)

    When using a text box, I can’t change the font size of specific words or lines of text without changing the size of ALL the text in the same box.  I can make particular words bold or italic, but I can’t change the text size without affecting all the text. There are no controls for line spacing.

    As a User I want to move multiple frames in the “table of contents” view together at once so that I can keep my frames in presentation order and not have to manually reorder everything individually.Currently this has to be done one at a time.

    Miro presentations are limited to the washed out colors of hex, and are hard to make both beautiful and accessible/inclusive.OKLCH supported in CSS, and is being adopted big time.Please include OKLCH for greater color support on modern monitors, with a fallback to hex if someone is on an older screen. https://evilmartians.com/chronicles/oklch-in-css-why-quit-rgb-hslhttps://oklch.com/ oklch() is a new way to define CSS colors. In oklch(L C H) or oklch(L C H / a) each item corresponds as follows: L is perceived lightness ( 0% - 100% ). “Perceived” means that it has consistent lightness for our eyes, unlike L in hsl() . C is chroma, from gray to the most saturated color.

    Hi team, I love the mermaid and plantUML apps!What would make them even better is the option to convert their output into native Miro nodes.Sometimes I just want to create a starting point and then drag and modify nodes and connections without writing code.

    Connectors that scale with sizes of other objectsOpen

    It’d be great if connectors scaled for the size of the frame or object being connected. Heck, it’d be great to put AI to use so that connector sizes were really just based on ratios whereby the connector could scale depending on overall use of the board and/or presenting the board. It’s such a basic thing with seemingly little improvement over the years. The problem is, at a basic level: I could have big stickies and nearly invisible connectors--I don’t think anyone really wants that.

    Today's text component does not offer many customization abilities. I wish the text component in Miro had an outline like the Rectangle component and the ability to set a margin between the text and the outline.

    When I search a Miro board, I have to be precise about character variations (e.g. a, à, á, â, etc.). You should allow for searching without precision as long as the base character is a match.

    Paste URL links - need to change link color as a custom style and 'Match Style'Open

    When pasting URL links the color of the text link is automatically blue; this requires re-editing to the original color if this is a ‘paste over’ existing text style. Need to be able to:Define color style of a pasted link. Paste and Match Style on existing text.Issue: automatically applies blue link to text when pasting a URL.

    Single board perpetual licenseOpen

    A lot of consultancy use cases are not well-served by the current subscription model, in my opinion.What I would like to do is pay for a single Miro board to support a client engagement, have full ownership and control of that board so I can add my clients to the board and give them whatever set of permissions make sense for the activity, and afterward, have the ability to assign them ownership of that board to continue using or referencing internally. The client may or may not want to continue using Miro for anything else, but they should at least have access to the full functionality of Miro for that board without having to necessarily come back into my workspace.I can’t do this with the “Free” version because I have to add them to my team, and if I am doing this for multiple clients I run into the three-board limit.Meanwhile this idea doesn’t mesh with the Starter and above plans if I want to *give* the board to the client and not retain ownership and control of it in my workspace.I think there is significant sales upside to this approach, as new users could get started on a perpetual license for a single board for a one-time fee, and as they get hooked and want to do more, they could either keep buying individual boards or switch to the more efficient subscription model that gets you a workspace and ability to scale use of boards across the organization. This may even be a viable replacement for the current “Free” tier.Just a thought.

    🎞️ Animating your boards for Broll and video editingOpen

    I almost found exactly what I was looking for with Miro, but in fact the feature isn’t there yet 🥲I am basically looking for an app (which I think would be life changing for any video content creator out there) that allows to create video animations from your graphs.The point is to be able to record your screen as Broll so you can have much more professional video editing (not just a loom-type presentation with your face on it, but having the recording of yourself separately on your camera and being able to record the animations from your ready-made branded graphs after the fact).So let’s say I have a mindmap, it’s already all organised and looks beautiful and clear in Miro, but now I cannot record it to illustrate my Youtube video for example without it looking like a cheap screen recording.If simple video animations (like starting from one “node” of the mindmap and ending on another one, or opening all your next notes or zooming in and out in a way that is centered on your diagram with small and elegant speed ramps etc) could be launched, then we could just record our screen (or even better export those animations) and use them as B roll in our videos.We would have incredible graphs and even motion text animations that would look even better than from the video editor because it would be all set up on Miro from the start, and it would save us tons of time and budget from creating those complex animations in our video editor or getting them done for us.It seems like so much features are already there (like creating “apps” and interactive dashboards and tons of very beautiful things) but this one, which seems simple to put in place from everything that is already there, is missing and would change content creation forever.Also, anything that would allow us to use templates and brand them “like changing all primary colours and secondary colours or all typographies etc) could be great too.

    I have an engineering review in Miro.  I have stickies indicating certain details I do not want to reveal yet.  I wish I had an eyeball to turn on/off like in a layers list.

    Support for diacritics & accents in fontsOpen

    Hi there, I would really love to see all fonts in Miro support all unicode characters. A quarter of the available fonts are unusable for us in Central Europe due to this limitation. For example, here in the Czech Republic we cannot write correctly without the letters "ř", "č" and others. But other neighbouring languages are doing the same or worse. Especially in Balakan, this is usually a big problem as far as I am informed.I attach a sample of the fallacies when I write the following sentence witten in Czech: "Examples often illustrate the topic for better understanding."  Thank you for at least concidering this issue.

    Markdown support or checkboxes for textOpen

    The ability to insert a checkbox in text or simply have Markdown support (as there is a markdown way of creating a checkbox) when adding Text. Right now users are making do with a lack of a good checklist feature by using the wireframe checklist (which can’t support too much text) or the Kanban board (which the user has to click the card to get into the checklist). This is a common feature across many productivity apps and I hope we can see in Miro.

    Add Command Palette to board right-click menuOpen

    While I can launch the Command Palette with Ctrl-K, with my right hand on my mouse and my left hand closer to the left side of my keyboard, Ctrl-K is requires more effort. And while I can click on the board’s Main menu to get to the Command Palette, it could be even quicker if I could right-click on the board and have the Command Palette as an option.

    Be able to remove default coloursOpen

    When you add your own custom colours to the palette, the default colours cause the palette to build up and become hard to manage. By adding the feature to remove the default colours, the palette becomes less cluttered and more personalised to the user’s liking.

    Change Miro Desktop App "copy board link" shortcut - it is the same as the Lock shortcutOpen

    The desktop app board "copy board link to clipboard” shortcut is Ctrl/Cmd-Shift-L, which is the same as Lock.So, what this means is, when using the Miro desktop app, if I have something in my clipboard that I want to use later during my board session, when I Ctrl-Shift-L to lock an object, Miro is overriding my clipboard with the board link/URL.Please change the board link shortcut in the desktop app.

    Dear Miro, I suggest the option to let fellow editors edit the Templates I made in Shared Custom. Together we form a group of editors that create a workshop for participants. It would be nice to be able top openly share, edit and change the templates we create together. This fits within the idea of what Miro stands for: collaborating together.  Cheers, Matthijs

    Personal Space or Project Outside of ProjectsOpen

    As a Miro user, I would like to be able to create and organize my own boards in my own personal space or project without needing to put them into a team project, so that I can document and iterate on my own ideas before I share them with others. I’d like to be able to organize these personal boards how I’d like without cluttering a team project.This is a feature found in Mural and LucidChart.
